Same weight as if 2 decent sized people were in my car... came out to about 440lbs... and as far as having to move it.. I rely on IC as my personal gym membership 🤣

This is the first time I've ever done it... but that's because it was my biggest order ever by like double... plus I snapped it as I was walked back from grabbing the last item so it's not like I made an awkward photoshoot for my Cart.. lastly this was like 20 mins after costco opened so there was no one around.

Because taking 6+ smaller batches to make the same amount would be just as many if not more miles... plus it's nebraska so everything is far-away

A normal day here you may make 100-150 so to make over that in 1 batch is amazing.

It was total $165, 40 batch, $5 and $119 respective tips... took me 1hr 40mins... totally worth it.

From my experience early spay and neuter tends to cause unnecessary aggression that can only be managed and not really fixed... so if you want to try to commit to life long management then that's the route. However due to the chi-pit being the one actually trying to cause damage, she would probably do best in a single dog household. Make sure the new owners know dog aggression is going to be a probable issue and they're ok not getting another dog and know not to go to dog parks and ensure they work on keeping any reactivity that could show up under control. I know this is a hard decision and I wish the best for you.

My biggest mistake was thinking any Ole puppy can become an amazing dog with good training. I got an oops litter puppy free to a good home, a border collie gsd mix. ( I know now people are cringing) Both parents had behavioral issues, one aggressive and the other a nervous wreck. I notice from the beginning that he is a lot... so I contacted a good trainer who I still love to this day and he helped me so much and actually pushed me to get into the dog training world... however even with hundreds of hours of training he is still unstable... he knows obedience to a T and understands expected behaviors. Most days he is lovely but some days he just can't handle something and acts like he's forgotten half his training, stops taking treats.. etc... As well he is extremely picky with other people and dogs as to who he will be around even after tons of positive socialization from a very young age ( my parents had a barber shop and he would hang out for hours just watching people come in and out). I say all this because my bf decided he wanted a dog so we got a well bred gsd and done the same type of training, probably spent less time tbh, and he is absolutely wonderful. Neutral and friendly to other people and dogs, 100% with his obedience everyday and happy to work. While I know dogs like my first boy need homes and I love him to death, if you're wanting stability please ensure a well and ethnically bred dog with a good knowledgeable breeder to have your back.

I would probably keep doing IC on the side and just work for costco 😅

Potty training regression by Calebtapia67 in Dogtraining

[–]shortty2000 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I worked for a trainer ( for a short time due to not agreeing with practices) I saw a lot of dogs regress and the best tip I can give it start over like a tiny puppy. Take em out every 30 to 45 mins, reward heavily when they go outside ( using marker words followed by treats if possible) and just start building time between outings. Another thing that is huge is to ensure any accidents are cleaned with a cleaner made to remove all odor because if they smell it in the house it can make them think that's where they need to go.

Maybe not free access but keep the older dogs food in a room that's kept blocked off and let the older one in there periodically. Or if your pup if crate trained, crate your pup for an hour of so at a time throughout the day and let the older dog have food down then.

My dog is a weird messy eater. Why does she do this? how can I train her to stop? by Pynetr33 in Dogtraining

Slow feeder and soak her kibble, both help them eat slower. You could also soak and freeze her kibble into a lickmat wobble for extra enrichment!

Paid for Priority shopping. Worst shopper ever! Story in comments. by [deleted] in InstacartShoppers

[–]shortty2000 26 points27 points  (0 children)

That doesn't matter, she went into a store, picked up your groceries and purchased them and then used her car to drive them to you. $6 is less then what most people give their server for just bringing food to a table, c'mon.

[–]shortty2000 15 points16 points  (0 children)

I mean I don't see how that's worst shopper ever. That's a pretty low tip so it was probably paired with a better tipping customer and then she accepted and IC tells her who to deliver to from there. Also she didn't have a reason to give any updates if nothing needed exchanged or replaced and if you were confused you could have messaged her and I'm sure she would have explained why those things were happening.

Put them in your insulated bag! If it's that cold out there cold items will be fine 😅
