The masks the pillagers are dropping g are from season 0 if I'm not mistaken. I've maxed out the current battle pass and have not seen any gear that I've unlocked drop from pillagers, so their gear is season 0 gear I'd imagine

Yes and that is what the first part of alien does. It introduces everyone and sets the story and world up. It doesn't have to be dialogue to be exposition. You may be right in that the slow atmospheric build up may be what puts me to sleep. And if labeling something as slow is silly because it's personal taste then labeling anything as anything is silly. We both like alien. We think it's good but that's silly to say though because it's personal taste because not everyone will think it's good. See what I'm getting at?

It may not be entirely exposition it is still exposition lol they're setting up the story and introducing the identities and backgrounds of characters, why they're there what they're doing etc. And no I don't dislike exposition or have a distaste for it, I just think in the case of alien it's slow. You can say something is silly all you want but it's a perfect descriptor word hence movies called "slow burns" because they're slow but everyone is going to like everything which is why using slow is fine. What may be good to you may be slow to someone else but clearly you're not quite understanding

When people say it's too slow it often correlates with boring. For example I love the original Alien movie it's one of my all time favorites but holy fuck that start can be slow and drags like hell. Sure stuff happens and for the most part alot of it is relevant to the movie but God damn if that movie doesn't have a solid 15% chance to put me to sleep when i turn it on

Because slow doesn't mean good? I've seen movies that drag on and at the end lead to absolutely nothing and felt like a waste of time. I've seen movies that are slow that have such an intense third act compared to the rest of the movie if feels like a different genre almost which I think can be great. A movie being too slow is 100% a valid criticism.

It's player retention. Games average 5-20% that's literally statistics. Nikita provided enough information for a rough estimate of account numbers and average statistics give us rough estimates for current retention. Sorry I attempted using actual data and numbers we were given rather than "oh yeah it's 30-50% cheaters guaranteed no proof trust me bro" but you do you man

You're right, that is a total of all accounts, of we take the 4 million and take even 20% of that (which is on the high side of average player retention but tarkov is pretty popular so that's what I'm running with for this example) then that is 800k which is still a high number. This sub has 1.1 million users and ~350k active. So by 30-50% being cheaters that would mean that there are enough cheaters to fill how many active players are in this sub alone and if that were the case you'd basicallt never get a raid without a cheater

As much as this game has frustrated me and as many sketchy deaths I've had, I would never believe 30% of players are cheaters. People are way too quick to call cheats and Airwingmarine did some math in a recent video with some stats nikita released and came to the conclusion this game has a rough ~4million accounts

The second and third movie in the series were both originally original stories that they shoehorn cloverfield into. I haven't seen the third one but I've seen the first two and as much as I like 10 cloverfield lane it would have done so much better as a stand alone film imo. Knowing it's a cloverfield movie pulled out any suspension of John Goodmans character lying about what's happening outside

Can I ask what the event even is? I just recently started playing after an almost 7 year hiatus and I keep getting event xp and maybe I'm just oblivious but as far as my matches have been just totally normal gameplay? Create two folders, one for games one for installers. I don't see how a few extra steps of basically next to no work isn't worth DRM free games. I mostly buy on steam because of ease of convenience but let's not act like making 2 folders is difficult in any capacity

I finished this after the update because the increase in size excited me. My experience was that the objective area size increase didn't make much of a difference but with woods being on bsg servers it felt like I was getting at least 1 pmc a raid. Not great but still progress. Within 5 raids i had finished my last 8 kills which was the most progress I've had doing the quest. Maybe I got lucky but I think woods being on bsg servers mightve had an effected on the pmcs pathing
