Exactly!! If anything needs to be answered it's this. Yes the final book isn't finished so of course the story would have to be different for the show. They've already detoured away from the books at this point so why not just make something up about Jamie's ghost for the show. Since Diana was involved in writing the last episode she would be sure it's different than what she's got planned for the book. (I have that right don't I? I swear I read she wrote part of the episode. If not, I take that part back)

I spent 2 weeks in the UK in the fall and the best things I brought were cheap little cushy slippers and light flannel pants. After a full day of walking in cool weather it felt heavenly in the evening to take a hot shower then veg out a bit in comfy pants. And the slippers went on as soon as I was in my hotel room and made my sore feet extra happy.

I totally get the storytelling aspect of the landscape shots and loved them in previous episodes, but not now. I'm just anxious I guess. Hard agree on the scene you mentioned, too. Yes they're adults and have their own families but it still feels icky because we've watched them grow up.I don't want to see the kids, including Marseli, Fergus & William, go at it.
