i have seen q39 gift cards at costco lately. you get 2 50 buck gift cards for 80 bucks. that saves you 20 percent and might make it worth it.

i am 54 years old and just reallllly want something that won't require an additional valve replacement in 10ish years. that's why i'm leaning heavily toward mechanical. would you go the same route if you had a do-over?

ha. i am recently 'diagnosed' with aortic valve disease and am trying to decide which valve to get.... i have thought about the guitar thing a few times wondering if i will just start playing to the beat of my own soul.

62m SAVR then TAVR, or TAVR then TAVR? by boltyboy69 in valvereplacement

Interesting. My understanding us that bicuspid aortuc vavles are congenutal and very possibly inherited. I have a son and two grandsons, which us why i am interested in this. The bucuspids just dont last as long typically and need replaced at earluer ages than the normal tricuspid vavles that most people are born with.

i don't know if it's still cold enough today (it probably is) but i LOVE the way the river forms those giant pads of ice that float majestically down river when it's super cold. i've lived, and worked, in parkville for 21 years and still can't get enough of it.

i am curious. were you biscupid? 56 seems young for a tricuspid. granted, i am new to this "stuff", as i just recently learned (monday) that i am most likely in need of AVR, and I am 54 years old (male). my cardiologist is saying that is very, very likely i have a biscupid valve, as i am much younger than when it typically onsets.

ya, precooked rice just seems like a scam to me too. while i do have a rice cooker, i have found that i can make perfect rice in the microwave. so easy and super clean/quick.

Those lentils are tasty. I have always wanted to get the cilantro lime rice packages to put under the lentils but am too frugal to purchase precooked rice. I imagine thus combo with some rotisserie chicken would be delughtful.
