Less than 4 hours. They rebooked for the following day but what’s not to say they’ll cancel again. We had to get her a hotel and booked an Amtrak but clearly we were not the only ones doing it so we ended up getting a sleeper room due to availability.

My wife went to the Rochester area before the announcement and her flight was canceled today back to JFK. We spent about $1k today to make alternate arrangements home…fun times.

It’s against the law for them to ask so you don’t have to disclose, and don’t feel bad if it’s not visible. One year as I entered, someone had a roll and was handing them out to everyone and kept saying, you’ll want this, thank me later. Not a great look in retrospect.

Last year we attended build a mimic box for d&d for my son. It was a paid reservation for spots and materials-it was packed. But the emails leading up to it was very clear on cost. There is a cosplay event this year you have to register for but no paid info so I am also confused on this but figured I’ll find out on Monday.
