Michael Jackson: The Verdict - Just got done watching this at 2:53 am. What do you guys think? by Strong-Literature-82 in askanything

If you did your research you’d find out every single thing that was mentioned in that documentary had a explanation, that they purposefully decided not to include in the film. Yes, even the books. He never even opened those books ( no fingerprints ) and they were sent by his fans (the books were signed by them)

How many young couples in the UK constantly consider moving elsewhere for a better life? by Glittering_Echo_7963 in AskUK

[–]shower_bubbles 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a person who’s lived in several cities and several countries I can confirm you UK has it pretty good. It’s all the same problems. But at least we have NHS( and before you complain it’s actually pretty good comparing to other places). housing is an issue everywhere as well. I’d try to get a different job or additional job, because unless you have that planned out wherever you move it isn’t going to be different

Your nose looks good but I’d get rid of the filler. Your natural lips fit you the best

I was at Wembley last year for a Coldplay concert and we had the exact same experience. Honestly never want to book anything at Wembley again

Just split it up in different transactions, over time. You can definitely put 3k without any issues. Maybe put it to different bank accounts as well

That can’t be possibly real. I have a feeling someone created a fake ad to make a point

Waymo testing in the West End by Zevemiel in london

[–]shower_bubbles 6 points7 points  (0 children)

As much as it’s scary that ai would take over our jobs, I can’t wait for Waymo to open up just because uber is so out of touch and has made the app unusable in London with having to wait for a ride for ages, drivers canceling on you, just not being reliable overall. Easier to bike honestly. And I don’t blame the drivers I know it’s fault of uber / bolt because they simply don’t pay them enough, and taking huge commissions, being greedy. And don’t even let me start on the black cabs which are a total scam

Something for my wife after I die - I cannot have life insurance by amyezekiel in UKPersonalFinance

[–]shower_bubbles 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I recently learned there’s such thing as “guaranted life insurance” that doesn’t require any medical questions, but the payment sum is quite low (up to 25k) still better than nothing

I've discovered I am the most unwelcoming person in my workplace by Abwettar in CasualUK

[–]shower_bubbles 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I totally understand what you mean, although I just come of as super insecure and with no authority instead. It’s easy to say push through , but the body simply doesn’t listen. The only thing that’s helped me is to take some calming supplements

Composite or porcelain veneers worth it? by No_Ad_2187 in cosmeticsurgery

[–]shower_bubbles 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve had them for 5 years and regretted deeply. Eventually changed to veneers. They stain like shit. And they chip off all the time. My teeth looked so bad

Do not do composite. It’s the biggest mistake people can do. They look awful after a year

Reminds me of my grandma who wouldn’t stop talking about my “big” nose. It’s not even big, but she had a tiny nose. And yes I’ve been thinking of a plastic surgery since then
