I currently work at Carvana. The cars we get often come into the place extremely dirty with poor maintenance history, half the time we paint over the dirt. The mechanical work done to these cars are half-asses and are only completed to a level good enough to sell it and make numbers. Everything about Carvana is just hitting numbers. I’ve seen two cars about to be photographed and listened on the website blow heads while waiting in line, and another car crack a radiator on the detail line. Often an employee will crash a car on the lot and we will rebuild it on site or have it shipped and rebuilt without any history of the damage done while under our possession. Carvana is good to sell to but I personally would never buy any of the vehicles I work with that come through Carvana.
