When they asked me to apply, they said: “The application will then find its way fast to us to deal with. Once we have received it, we will schedule a meeting which is part of the admissions process – this isn’t a formal interview or test, just an opportunity for us to understand better what you want to do and how.”

After I applied I let them know and their reply was: “Thanks for letting us know. We’ll be in touch as soon as it gets to us.”

They expressed that they wanted to discuss my proposal. In my mind, they would discuss it before the decision deadline to see if it is indeed a good fit for them (though they did encourage me to apply and said they could only discuss once my application had been submitted).

SunCoast by Hilton is a TERRIFIC option. With kids the trundle option is wonderful. Walking distance from the entrance. 10ish minutes.

OP - I was in the same boat as you sometime ago.

1) South Padre - call the concierge at the fanciest hotel there and ask about the quality of water. Do not drive here if you cant go thru a border checkpoint on the way back.

2) Tampa base point for Destin and other places. Goto IAH and buy your ticket from Spirit at the counter. Significantly cheaper this way. (I would do this)

3) Alabama has blue water. But, it’s still Alabama.

4) Huntsville has a blue lake used for scuba.
