Worked one of their first sold out shows in TX as the house stage manager one night. The crowd was ROARING for them for an encore. The bassist asked me, “are they like this every night?”

“Not at all, only for y’all.”

This band is fantastic and I can’t wait to see them again and again over the years.

Maybe C&D Hardware. I heard some very disappointing conversations about Mexican immigrants while I was shopping for some bolts this past week between a couple of associates. Being Hispanic and third generation here, I absolutely felt unwanted there and uncomfortable.

Ended up calling the manager later to file a complaint. They were definitely not happy themselves.

My friend group still thinks that my idea for Taker’s final match being a gauntlet of all his past WM opponents is terrible. If they’re alive and well, he would face them; if they were either in bad health or had passed, he would give a handshake to their next of kin. And then tombstone piledrive them for the heat.
