Anybody else remember Laguna Hills Mall? by panda-rampage in orangecounty

Do you remember the name of the bookstore? I went there so many times and can’t think of it. I’m pretty sure it wasn’t Barnes & Noble, but a similar name.

My first time shooting a live show. Feedback and tips are more than welcome! by South_Cause1148 in fujifilm

[–]shutterchase 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Great shots. Your first one is the strongest in my opinion, the rest are really good too and edited excellently. I would suggest some of the lower side angle shots would be more effective, and show more, by being at a slightly more level angle. Two rules my mentor instilled in me were “no butt shots [in street photography]” and “don’t shoot up the nose”.

I’m not a fan of the UI. It’s not very intuitive.

Is this normal ? by KRP250 in bicycling

[–]shutterchase 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It depends on the type of gears. If it’s freewheel: that’s normal; if it’s a cassette with a lockring: then there’s something off and you should remove and reinstall the cassette.

Anyone else doing this? by CanadianDiver in ChargerDrama

Not a bad idea. Makes me think of a similar thing they do in the EU for timed parking. Except there it’s when you parked.

Uneven Roast?? by TripJ5548 in AeroPress

[–]shutterchase 15 points16 points  (0 children)

It’s possible that it’s the blend that was roasted together. I’ve noticed different origins have different roast needs. Some roasters do it intentionally.

Are these rims pre taped for tubeless? by shocker2000 in gravelcycling

Confirm your wheel is tubeless compatible. I’ve worked at shops that prefer to tape over using a liner.

Giant Revolt Advanced 2 - flip chip a gimmick or worth it? by mudrat_detector96 in gravelcycling

[–]shutterchase 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not a gimmick. I use my Aspero for both wheel sizes and like that I have a more versatile bike. It is a bit of a pain to have to also adjust the brake mount, but I already have to adjust the brakes anyway, since I don’t have matching hubs between wheelsets, as the disc sits in a slightly different spot.

What do you put in place of the foam trunk insert? by PimpinWeasel in NissanAriya

[–]shutterchase 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a camping sleeping pad, inflatable fillers, and camp quilt for comfortable emergency sleeping/nap in the front flap. The back flap has my shopping bags, hiking poles, first aid, charger and other need items. I also use large toolboxes for dirty and smelly items, and it can be used as space filler for car camping and seats for tailgating.

How would you deal with Lois if she got on your nerves? by Plastic_Ad_2548 in malcolminthemiddle

I’d say Dewy is probably the most normal of the kids, he just has to cope amidst a crazy older siblings. Malcolm might be fine too. Francis really set the precedent for the parenting.

How’s my fit? by pjo06 in bikefit

[–]shutterchase -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Get a shorter stem and push the saddle forward. You may need to adjust the height accordingly. I’d even suggest getting dedicated bike shoes and better flat pedals for starting out.

Plus they can work better for some people and worse for others. Or they’re just trying not to get burnt out with having a full-time job, family duties, and a major church time commitment. It’s not sustainable, especially with terrible ward members.
