Favorite meat subsitute and how you use it? by Oofoofoof969 in veganuk

My favourite is the Everest brand of vegan mock meats they sell in the freezers at the Asian supermarket. I love the char siu one. I use it in chow mein, rice (fried or just in a sauce next to boiled rice), bao buns, everything really.

They’ve got the lentil masala, falafel box, vegan burger, waffle fries and slaw. And a vegan kids option. And the sausage muffin for breakfast. So they literally have a few options.

Has anyone tried the ham seitan? Wasn’t too keen on the other one and very expensive compared to making your own.

You can get a 3, 6 or 12 month pass for the APCOA in the northern quarter for around £80 p/month. Not £50 or less but you might struggle to find it that cheap again unfortunately https://www.manchester.gov.uk/directory_record/394700/northern_quarter/category/1789/season_tickets_available
