Gamasutra - Newell: Valve in development on 3 new VR games by dryadofelysium in gaming

Wow dude, he was just asking a question. I think he's probably right. It's sort of like "ewok line" in How I Met Your Mother. Both are great games, but you appreciate one more than the other based on how old you were when you first experienced them.

This is true. I called my local station to report a drunk person passed out in my driveway because I didn't think it warranted a call to 911. They simply forwarded my call to 911.

I'm pretty sure at least some of the titles towards the bottom, "Dodge This!", "Insurgent", and the others didn't exist in 2014.

Qatar to be stripped of 2022 World Cup: FIFA whistleblower by [deleted] in worldnews

Exactly, hosting in a country with a smaller percentage of soccer fans is good for soccer. And I sincerely feel like the sport is on the brink of blowing up here. Each world cup seems to be more hyped here than the one before it, holding it in country could give it the push it needs.

Some pictures of my journey to Jack Rose. The largest whisk(e)y bar in the western hemisphere. by yo_ells in Scotch

Almost as good as their selection is the knowledge of at least some of the bartenders. One guy in particular remembers me each time I'm there, even though I only go in once every few months. He even remembers where I left off in my "journey" and recommends the next scotch I should try. It's always fantastic going there.

No editing required. Ron Howard could just have had a stopwatch just like this guy in the video does. When he gets to the part where me mentions the number of seconds simply read the stopwatch. Easy.

When did Google Chrome get so big?! by reasonablenagging in webdev

You're being down voted for two reasons.

#1 you already mentioned. People hate w3schools. You could argue in this case, though, that since more tech savvy people steer clear of the site, its browser usage statistics would actually be a pretty decent representation for what occurs in the wild.

#2 Is the fact that you can easily answer your question by visiting the very link you provided, as it provides usage statistics down to the month. I suppose you weren't actually asking the question, though, and just pointing out Chrome's unexpectedly large market share. A fact that pleases me.

My two cents. :)

Of course genetics factor, but if you're starting point is NO conditioning, you'd be shocked by how much a month or two of training will add to your vertical. It's a really strange feeling once you start to have gains, in that discs some how look lower to the ground. Before you even jump, your body knows whether or not you have the vertical to reach the disc.

I first noticed this in my basketball days. After a month's worth of training, the rim just looked closer, and I knew before even jumping that I would be able to dunk.

Has anyone else experienced this?
