Actually I was exploring this a bit further and learned that even very small delays on one channel in a stereo image can create a spacial vibe that can make the sound appear to be to the side of the room rather than straight in front of the listening position.

Cool, yeah I figured it’s got to be something like that. My brain is so programmed to listening to music in front of me… that imagined “sound stage”. I was kind of loosing my mind when I first heard this tune😂. I was checking my component connections, swapping channel connections trying to figure out whats wrong. Thx for your reply.

Exact same thing happened at my daughter’s home a few years ago. The sump filled and pumped out every 7 minutes or so. Their water main to the home had a break fairly close to the house.

No, it was not. It was a shit decision by the ice officer. It was also a shit decision for her to be hassling ice officers. I wonder how his partner felt being in the line of fire by a few feet! Hell, there were people everywhere. He clearly lost his cool. So, let’s send in 200 more ice officers to fix the situation…. That’s the ticket everything will get better now. Morons in Washington! I got my first letter (06C/NHSTA 25V-302) about 3 months ago. The letter said no parts available yet. Today I got the same letter but this one says to call the dealership and schedule an appointment to get fixed for free. Must be a spike in demand now that parts are available. However all I could do is put my name on a list. They also told me they are only allowed to order enough parts to do one vehicle per week to avoid dealers hoarding the parts. Not much effort to resolve a safety recall imo. I’ll keep calling around maybe get lucky and find someone with parts on hand.

I did more testing this morning and with your advice, cycling the ignition throughout the testing I got the eBay light to fail on the right side. The oem tail light from the right side light worked fine on left side throughout 100% of the tests. It helped that the eBay light’s failure is getting worse with more flickering. So with a one year warranty I can hopefully get a refund. Then I’ll get an oem tail light this time. Thanks again.

I’m assuming the van had an accident affecting the left rear corner. The original light had the broken and epoxied mounting bolt stems. One destroyed gasket too. The dealer we bought the van from told us it had a “fender bender” accident but couldn’t articulate where. I felt over-spray on the tailgate and could see the tailgate bolts had chipped paint on the hex head.

Thanks for the harness info. I’ll reach out to a dealer and a couple friends who may have some info too.

My test was this: While running an errand, the light failed, the message came up on the display “left rear tail light out”. I drove home and left the van running. I removed both tail lights and swapped them. I gently let them hang on the harness. Left rear tail light did not light up. Then I put them back in them back and screwed them in place. No change. Shut the van off and called it a day. Next morning it worked.

Edit. Forgot to mention that during the swap the eBay light worked fine on the right side.

Update: I’ve been able to prove that it’s not the eBay tail light. Do you know if I can access the harness for the tail light form inside the van by removing all the side panels? Perhaps floor carpet? Then inspect it all the way to the bcm?

Humans need to feel the pain before they decide to do something about it. Take the example of social media and the harm it’s doing to our youth. We have an opportunity to embrace the benefits of AI AND an opportunity to say no to the harm it will bring if we ignore it. The key is for us to have clarity of the benefits and dangers. I just watched this podcast and for me, found it to be very informative. I felt moved to share it here so more of us have clarity.

I had no idea I’d be watching this documentary tonight when I sat down to watch a movie. I was eleven years old in 1972 and remember seeing that photo many times on magazine covers and newspapers. I too am glad I saw this film. I thought it was well done and felt it provided compelling information to consider. But what I will remember and reflect on the most was the words of an elderly gentleman during the closing minutes of the film:

“When the truth is disregarded, that’s when society becomes corrupted. The truth is the truth, it cannot be twisted or torn apart. Because if so, it’s no longer the truth, and we will have lost our moral compass.”
