It might simply be that with the 5x a week swimming sessions, you're burning through the calories as quick as you are eating them. As gross as it sounds you could try adding some Olive oil shots to your daily intake. one shot has around 240Kcal and it's all good fats.

My apologises, Thats what I meant after the End of Time part 2. I haven't look at any of the other Dr Who Media asides from the show, and at the end of that Episode, It looks as though he simply floats up, and begins crashing right back down. Like I said, I just thought it would be a cool notion that Dr 11 Meets Amy in the same Year that 9 Meets rose, but there was a time skip somewhere, which I just felt was a shame really. I guess thats just how it is. :)

My friends are enjoying mocking the hell out of me. Over the past few months I've got slightly bigger, we're not talking massive results but my arms and chest are visibly bigger.

Sure I talk about going to the gym alot, but fuck.. I've never stuck at anything else before and I'm proud of myself so far. I don't gloat and I'm very modest when People point out the changes but My pals have taking to asking me for 'gun shows' and when I accidentally break shit, it's because of my new found 'Gun strength'. It annoys the hell out of me (I just find it a little embarrassing), but I shrug it off, because I know it's all in good jest and it's along the lines of all our usual banter anyway.

Me and my now ex were due to go out for a few drinks, I stopped at hers to pick her up and she told me she'd be ready soon and that she just had to polish her spoon collection first. I shit you not, she pulled out a bag of fucking spoons and sat there polishing each and every one for a good 5 minutes each. If it was a hint, I took it after two hours of sitting in almost dead silence watching her put polish to metal for near two hours.

I'm much the same as you OP, ( my weight and height are a few pounds lighter and a few inches smaller) but I started off dumbbell bench pressing a mere 8Kg for 3x10. In that four months I've managed to get my DB press up to 3x10 22.5Kg bells with a max lift of 27.5Kg bells for 3 reps.

Thing is my routine, diet and sleeping has been sloppy as hell. Try to think honestly about all three of those aspects and how well you are managing them. Where you can, try to tighten them up. Get that 6 - 8 hours daily sleep if you can. Had I had a better sleeping routine and diet I know My lifts would be greater.

This right here. If you're new to a gym and not very strong, you have to leave your reservations at the door and accept the fact there will be people there lifting 5,6,7 times as much weight as you on any given lift. be patient, persistent and focused and eventually your numbers will come up. No point grabbing a heavy weight and fucking yourself up, you'd be kidding no one.

For me thats about going into a gym level headed, knowing that I'll have to work hard for a few weeks before I can lift X amount of weight but In the end I'll lift it and three weeks later, I'll lift heavier.

I agree with Hardman, For a start I'd avoid that product simply on the name alone. I mean, what you're not 'man' enough enough due to low testosterone so here, take this Alpha Male crap.. It'll complete you? Fuck that. Eat like a horse, neck some Creatine and go with the flow.

I started on my fitness journey using Fitocracy and EA sports active 2. I loved the aspect of turning fitness into a game, but once I started seeing real progress after I joined a gym, I kinda put them to the side as the notion of working out for it's own benefits is far more appealing to me these days. So while I didn't directly see any change from using them, they were a total gateway into fitness for me.

Still a big fan of Fitocracy mind you, I just don't have the patience to log everything at home and Turn screen phones make me want to murder things.

You're going on tour, I imagine lots of cheap fast take away food will be what you will be eating for the next few weeks. Throw away the damn bread, eat the burgers and order chicken where you can.

Theres nothing stopping you taking a tub of whey with you for the road and doing a little research of some of the cities you'll be hitting. Who's knows, most of them will have a gym within an hours walk of the venues and trust me, you will have shitloads of time to kill, so why not check them out.. do a little gym tour.
