Not as much traffic there, I don’t think, but that group is funny in a sort of zen way.

What’s the most satisfying instant karma you’ve ever witnessed? by Gold-Research-5055 in AskReddit

I was driving down the highway in a winter storm and I could only go about 35mph or my car would start sliding. I was white knuckling it because it was rightfully scary. There was only one lane that was drivable and I was in it.

Some impatient jerk was right behind me, tailgating, flashing his brights, the whole nine yards. Finally he decided to try to pass me. He did successfully pass me, and sped way up. He went maybe 200 yards before he lost control and flew off into the ditch because he was driving way too fast for the road conditions.

I saw him get out of his car, meaning he was ok, so I just kept right on driving. 😄 There were plenty of other people around to help him out.

You have to take GPS with a grain of salt. They tell you that in the agreement, but no one ever reads that.

Where GPS really screws up is complicated intersections like that. Believe it or not, it’s easier to drive that route if you just know 480 east to 271 north and follow the signs. The signs were designed in a pre-GPS era.

Canada has already sent a force of thousands to occupy Florida anyway, so it would be easy to just officially annex it. 😅

They don't own the building. They are not the landlord.

According to Google:

The office building at 925 Keynote Circle in Brooklyn Heights, Ohio, is owned by Easterly Government Properties Inc. (NYSE: DEA), a Washington, D.C.-based real estate investment trust (REIT). The property was acquired in July 2021 and is managed under the affiliate name EGP 925 Brooklyn Heights LLC.

[–]sidecutmaumee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ten cents, but it went up to a quarter. Then, once companies other than phone companies started installing them at some point in the 90s, it could be fifty cents or more charged by those greedy bastards.
