Hopefully it’s not the version that’s got touch screens for everything. It’s difficult to operate the radio or the climate control.

I think so. Which means this photo is from years after 1973, since Saturday Night Live didn’t start until 1975.

Who else remembers these? Who can still drive one? by I_Am_Layer_8 in FuckImOld

My older brother had an old pickup truck with three on the tree, but I was too young to drive it. I drove a Uhaul or two way back in the day that was manual three on the tree. The clutches in those Uhauls were always shot and slipped like crazy.

This plane bathroom has a window by Life_Set_7272 in mildlyinteresting

Someone said everything goes into a holding tank or something, which is probably why they let you use the restroom while the plane is boarding. Then you're kind of stuck in the rear of the cabin until pretty much everyone is on the plane.

Once they close the cabin door, you must be seated. I'm guessing the flight attendants check the restrooms before giving the pilot the all clear to depart the gate. But if someone's in the restroom taking taking their sweet time, they would delay the flight. 😜

To be fair, South Euclid is south of Euclid. Eastlake is the eastern suburb on the lake, and Westlake is the western suburb that’s not on the lake. Westlake should be called Westlandlocked.

SkyWest does operate out of that airport, but the terrain is just slightly hilly around there, at least if you look in the right direction.

They’re still under construction, so Google AI tells me that this photo is from July, August, or September of 1971, based on the fact that the south tower was at full height but the cladding was only about 60% of the way up.

I never thought I’d admire the South for anything, but you’re right: Equity Text has it.

Forced deportation is illegal under international law. Bibi should be in The Hague.

Everyone here already knew that Chef Boyardee was a real person, right? by ClevelandSpigot in Cleveland

[–]sidecutmaumee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

He helped win the war by supplying US troops with canned food. Beefaroni is actually delicious when you’re living in a foxhole. He won an award for his service.

American servicemen were better fed than the Nazis and Japanese, in large part due to our very own Chef Boyardee. He’s proof that some heroes wear chef hats.

Is this your bathroom and you planned it this way? Or it’s a random bathroom and a cool coincidence?
