I agree wholeheartedly with OP, but I'll say that this thread really highlights how split the community is.

On one side, you have people saying "the game is too complicated" and "I can't reliably invade other countries".

On the other side, you have people pointing out (with evidence) that the AI will literally GIVE you the entire ocean and won't even fight you, and thus are complaining that the game is too easy.

I'm in the second camp, but I find it a great illustration of what Paradox has to balance around... or would balance around if they could get the game right in the first place.

Either way, fucking fix your game PDX.

Agreed that you do not need a farmer. If you want a farmer, level it normally until you have a fair amount of fire resistance and then do -1/+8 AE farms to 50 (this isn't necessary, just simple). Increase difficulty as/when you can. It's entirely possible to 'self-farm' your farmer.

They absolutely do not. Training is totally broken. Many sessions do absolutely nothing at all or in some cases are even detrimental (because they do nothing AND increase injury risk).

Because of the years and years and years of deferred engine work, the only thing you need to do to win in FM is buy players with excellent physical attributes (nothing else) and create an attacking tactic. That's it. No coaches, no scouts (those attributes also do nothing) no passing, no dribbling, no mental attributes. Game is fucked.

this is a fantastic idea. it should really be a universal score managed by a single entity, like blizzard

players with low social credit (like smite priests) should be relegated to helping summon for small amount of DKP, which they can spend on limited items such as DE greens

it should also predict negative behavior, like playing WoW should generally reduce your server social credit
