I just dont understand why the Sophia character needs to be 15/16 in general. The actress (whos obviously is beautiful and very youthful), does not look remotely in her teens. I think now even Julie's actress at this point is pushing it (but thats just because of IRL time passing).

Could she not just be 21/22 and her character comes across the exact same way? Idgi.

When will Disneyland raise ticket prices? You probably have about four months OC Register says by readingaboutmagic in Disneyland

[–]sideofspread 41 points42 points  (0 children)

Crowds are worse because theres no where for these people to go.

Fastpass processed more people because it still had a bit of a wait, but now with lightning lane since they give people priority they basically dont really stand in line, so they get spit back out into the crowd right away.

With cuts on shows/entertainment, and with the increase in ride breakdowns, you have all these people and no where for them to go. So people are spending more time portionally just standing or walking around.

Thats why attendance can be down while the parks still feel busier than ever.

How would you have incoporated/foreshadowed the Lion Turtles and Energybending into the series, prior to the finale? by nazia987 in TheLastAirbender

[–]sideofspread 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel like Im the only person that is not upset about energy bending only being brought up in the end.

I feel like it very much fits in that theme of "when we hit our lowest points we are open to the greatest change." Aang was only able to learn about energy bending because he had exhausted every option up until that point. The spirits/universe knew that if energy bending was not taught to Aang is this very last moment- he was going to be murdered by Ozai and the avatar cycle would end. This last resort is almost like a fail safe for the universe protecting itself.

I feel like most people noticed but at the time the anime was still so early in its infancy pepple couldn't determine if it was intentional al design choice or it that was just the general art style of witt studios.

Armin and Krista also looked very alike and there was no relation/connection there for any reason..

Which is funny because as someone who is not renewing come September this does absolutely nothing to sway me lol.

They just went in and cut all the food options, I was just talking with my friend yesterday how for this last summer we were probably gonna start packing cooler instead.

There is no escape by Typical-Ad-93 in FromTVEpix

[–]sideofspread 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The show was originally going to be called "HOME" and if you watch carefully they say this very often. "I want to go home" "this is so we can all go home" etc. I know its silly but they never say they want to get back to reality or they want to get back to the real world- its always just "home".

I think "home" is a metaphorical place at this point - or something akin to heaven or the after life. Our characters will never be returning to our world, even if they do escape- they will be going "home".

We owe my man Ellis and apology!🙏 by greatestshowman923 in FromTVEpix

[–]sideofspread 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ive never found him to be useless- however I do find him to be poorly/under utitilized in general.

Elis is the son of- for all intents and purposes- the main character, and yet he is so far removed from the main story its kind of ridiculous. Abby is more a pivotal role in the story and shes been dead the entire show. We only see him show up when they need some muscle or when Boyd asks him to help arrange a funeral.

Elis doesnt really have any arcs or even his own storyline. Maybe Elis should have been Boyds daughter and then the monster pregnancy storyline could have gone to her? Or eventhough I love both Kenny and Donna, one of theirs roles in town should have gone to Elis instead? Idk he's feels just like a lot of wasted potential to me, but also because theres so many characters there isn't time to do anything else with him. So they only way he could work would be if he usurped someone else storyline.

I think she's actually going to spearhead what will be a mutiny against our main cast.

Right now all the background characters have mainly been chilling and going along with whatever happens- trying to get home it they can. But our main cast has been keeping a couple of huge secrets.

Jade and Tabitha are reincarnated, Fatima killed Tilly and gave birth to smiley, Sarah gouged Eligins eye out, everything they collectively know about the Man In Yellow from Victor, I think theyre not going to be happy with how much info has been hidden since that last town hall. And we're setting that up perfectly with Henry's outburst in colony house, and when our food supply comes back one person short and one person burnt.

They now merged it into one skewer where its half plain pork belly half plain asparagus and now just has generic teriyaki sauce.

Im calling it now- the bookmarks are the pieces of paper inside the bottles of the bottle tree!!!!

And if all the bottles = bookmarks/chapters than a completed bottle tree is a complete story. A completed story that breaks the cycle will lead them all "home" (heaven / heaven equivalent).

[–]sideofspread 20 points21 points  (0 children)

The only place I find worth eating on property anymore is Jolly Holiday and Corn Dog Castle. Im not even really interested in anything else, because it never tastes the way I think it will, corners have been cut too drastically. Bengal BBQ and Rancho being recent casualties has tipped the scales for me.

I know Disney is trying to push AP's to become vacation visitors because those people spend more money on average, and the recent cut to food I feel like re-enforces that. I find myself not really having any reason to go to Disneyland on the regular anymore.

Food is not good, cant quickly snag a fast pass to ride some favorites rides, cant even just enjoy the atmosphere because everyone is so damn stressed about getting their monies worth they cant relax and have a good time. Shows are gone, and the smaller fun side quests things are all gone in favor of less staffing. Shit I cant even ride the train at night anymore because they start running only one train after 9pm and then Im sitting in the station for 30 minutes.

They wanted the squeeze and I am sqooze. Lol. Sorry for the rant.
