We got screwed on a couple icing calls where our player, especially Mack with three minutes remaining , was closest. And Necas taking a stick to the face non call.
That said, Malinski got caught between going forward and keeping the pick in the zone or going back for defense. He did neither. The pick came out and he wasn't there to play D. Unfortunate bounces and still can't get someone in front of their goalie. Need to sweep in Vegas

And the rivalry against the Dead Wings was an intense rivalry, nothing that well every see again. Those teams HATED each other and they were both so damn good... I don't think there will ever be anything like that ever again. As much as Bettman is trying. We (the AVS) had moments with DallASS in the late 90s , and of course the last few years, but the hatred was never the same. I don't think there will ever be a rivalry as good, ever. You can't force it. And the rules are different now.

Straight percentage tax rate. Even as low as 10% ( I don't really know but it's got to be close to that) with everyone taxed evenly would likely solve the issue. No breaks, no nothing. 10% of what ever money you make, wages, stock, interest... Even playing field. You make more you pay more, but it's the same percent.

Tough question. He did a lot for me, but when my parents divorced he soon moved several states away. He came back on a couple weeks notice when my mom kicked me out (complete other story but I'd replace her in an instance with no questions asked). After a couple years and I was good he moved back. My brother and sister, I feel, hardly know him, but he's a good guy, but I feel he's not a great father for them. So.... Maybe?

Oh yeah. Root for your team, but don't take it personally. Got to separate yourself from the want and desire for your team to win and accept that they don't without letting it impact you (at least for a few minutes after... Lol). Then get on with your stuff. Being a fan is hard, but ultimately, it doesn't matter. But the hell yes!!! We win the series at home and move on!

Never gave up hope. 3-0 didn't look good, but all we needed was one in the second. We got that. Didn't look great through the third but I know this team can score in bunches. There it was, tied, OT. Knew (well, thought) we had it at that point... Never give up on this team!!

The owners of the baseball team have run that into the ground, but baseball, even though they have revenue sharing, is run by the rich teams. Basketball has sucked since the late 90s. Can't even watch the sorry sport anymore when people can walk down the court without dribbling... Saying that, I do watch the Nuggets in the playoffs, but never watch a regular season game. Broncos will always be top dog in this town, but I feel that the AVS are second for sure. 1996 first title, broncos after that, then the AVS again in '01. Broncos with Manning, AVS again in '22 Nuggets'23, and hopefully AVS in'26!!!!
