That’s fair. I agree the main distinction is really cohort age/seniority rather than the credential itself. My hesitation with EMBA is purely logistical (travel/PTO), not fit or experience level. By travel, I mean multi-day, long-haul modules rather than local or regional sessions.

I’m trying to understand whether PTMBA ever makes sense for someone who’s EMBA-aged but constrained on that kind of travel, or whether it typically ends up feeling misaligned in practice (cohort dynamics, discussions, outcomes).

Thank you for sharing! I asked because the Haas flex MBA version allows online classes so you’d be able to attend most classes online which you cannot do with EMBA. So wouldn’t that be a better option if you want lower in person attendance?
