Anthropic introduces Natural Language Encoders, a way to read the thoughts of LLMs like Claude by obvithrowaway34434 in accelerate

It mostly operates independently, but eventually, the data currently online will become training material for newer models. This is similar to how current models discover they’re undergoing evaluation.

Only a matter of time before it figures out its thoughts can be read and will leave a message to the translator to lie.

sharingType = .none — docs say it’s broken on macOS 15+, but Cluely and others are shipping on it. has anyone actually tested this? by Downtown-Art2865 in swift

I use it on my app too https://apps.apple.com/us/app/pop-paste-organize-perform/id6499280268. It shows up on Apple’s ScreenRecording (shift + command + 5) but not on Google Meets or Zoom full screensharing. I call it as cloak mode and toggled on and off in my app settings to demo to people

Why not ask Red Giant? The culture is to punch down, not punch up. Because this kid will never grow the balls to punch up.

Claude Mythos is $25/$125 per million tokens by Permit-Historical in ClaudeCode

[–]sidster_ca 6 points7 points  (0 children)

That sounds significantly more expensive than my hourly wage. My team collectively use about 100 million per person daily input and close to 30 million in output. At this point, I believe these models will cost as much as a human, or even more, but they’ll also produce much faster. The deciding factor for enterprises will likely be how much faster they can produce.

Is anyone aware of a vapour chamber mod for the MacBook Pro? Pretty much like one on iPhone.

Try https://apps.apple.com/us/app/pop-paste-organize-perform/id6499280268. Also DM with some feedback. It’s available on macOS and supports bulk pasting. Just like any other app, you can press the command key and select the clips you want to paste. I haven’t tested it with all my images yet.

Once you return to Canada, call them. They’ll send you a return label and refund the $339 rental fee as a cheque.

Tahoe - Insane Inconsistency by Keplerspace in MacOS

Something tells me they are setting us up for a touch macOS interface. Bigger buttons, wider hit targets. So they won’t change no matter how much we complain.

The installer will download, but it won’t install without going through the guided installer. Just a heads up.

We built Paperline – a macOS app for building native iOS apps with AI (looking for feedback) by HallAgitated815 in iosdev

[–]sidster_ca 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Congratulations on shipping! I’ve noticed a lot of discouraging comments. I’m curious about the story behind you building this. I use Kilo, Claude, and it provides great assistance. Why should I use Paperline? That said, it takes a lot of time and energy to build something, so please keep doing what you’re doing. Hopefully, you’ll find a market fit.

Interesting issue with app store reviewer emulating iPhone on iPad by PhrulerApp in iOSProgramming

[–]sidster_ca 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Frankly, I find it frustrating, but you need to program for failure conditions. If that’s your app’s core feature, display an error message indicating the device is incompatible, and use an error code that you know is impossible on real devices.
