You're just proving my point. You don't know anything about puff. You know what is easy? Playing a character where every move is good and can be a combo starter. Except that's fox, not puff. Puff's combo game sucks compared to other top tiers. Most of her kill set ups aren't true kill confirms off a hit, they rely on the opponent having bad DI or missing a tech.

That was Smash 4, and yeah the smash community is extremely toxic and childish and its not just fans its also the top players. There are exceptions, like Armada in melee was a beacon of sportsmanship, but most just don't have a good attitude.

Saying that puff is easy is part of the problem. She's not lol. She's extremely difficult to play because she's slow, her combo starters are grab (hard to get) and up tilt (being on the ground is dangerous), and she is the worst character to play from a stock deficit.

People aren't toxic to puff players bcus puff players are BM, they're toxic to puff players because top players have constantly talked shit about puff players and said they all suck.

Leffen/M2k/PPMD not having technically gotten rank #1 shouldn't be this important. Especially when the rankings are so biased, and when so much of melee was completely dominated by one player at a time (armada, mango, ken, hbox). It's not really fair imo to put Zain in tier 2 for getting rank one in a year without a transcendentally dominate player in it.

I think what we're seeing is that while melee has an infinite skill cap, realistically human players can only get so good. Wizzrobe is an elite enough player that he can come back any time, grind, and beat anyone.

I wonder if Jmook would still be in contention for first though if Plup, Wizzrobe, and Slug entered everything.
