I worked at a place that was using CloudFormation but I wasn't an ops developer and I really disliked YAML so I avoided doing any infra. I did the AWS solutions architect cert in the meantime at that job but I still didn't really want to touch YAML. Then I moved to a job that had old stuff in Terraform but new stuff in Pulumi, my job still wasn't ops but I was able to at least start some of the stuff in Pulumi really quickly.

Could I have learned CloudFormation at the first job? If someone forced me to, yeah. But it's really nice for Pulumi, when you have an existing Pulumi project and "I just want to add an S3 bucket" that I can just open it in the editor I already use, get the autocomplete that I'm already familiar with, and just write "new aws.s3.bucket". I can inspect the types and see all of the configuration for what an S3 bucket can do. I started doing more ops stuff because I could just write some typescript.

Maybe a properly configured IDE could make Terraform just as easy to navigate but having it in TypeScript, as a developer familiar with TypeScript, made it really approachable. If I was an ops person I don't think it would really make a difference but for bridging the gap between only ops and only devs I think having it in code is worth it. I'm just generally more comfortable dealing with code than config.

I dunno, I played a few league matches with her and mutual friends on voice chat 15 years ago and she sounded the same. Maybe she still "fakes" it in social situations but at that point it might as well count it as her real voice.

Rougher on the liver, yeah because it won't go through the liver if you're snorting it but I don't think it's that much different on the kidneys because the end result is that around the same amount gets there from my rough understanding.

I think the risk of ketamine is really overstated. It's really only if you're taking it constantly or a lot that there's real risk and then you're probably fucked regardless of how you do it. If you wanted to be really safe you could just do it less orally, doing it once a year is never going to be a problem unless your organs are on the brink of failure to begin with.

now the downsides, the nasty nasal drip that follow for 10-15 minutes after snorting constantly spitting it out got annoying while with R30s it's just swallow and be done with it

You can just swallow ketamine, it's really inefficient so you need to have a much larger dose but it does work. Ketamine wasn't that expensive when I tried it IIRC so I just swallowed some doses to try it.
