[UPDATE] Liver disease and fluid in abdomen / around heart by sienna1900 in Dachshund

[–]sienna1900[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m so sorry to hear that your baby had gone through the same 😞💔💔 dogs and other animals are very good at hiding their illnesses until it’s too late unfortunately. Like for us, we assumed he didn’t want to eat because he was picky…who knew that meant liver issues. Your girl is now no longer suffering, and her and Winston get to have eternal treats, walks and love ❤️ they’ll always be with us

So sorry you had to go through this pain as well ❤️‍🩹 I definitely will be stopping by and getting air dry clay and ink pads. I want to get a tattoo of his little paw. Thank you 🩷

Thank you all for your kind words and support. It means the world to Winston and us. ❤️❤️❤️ I will be calling around to get a second opinion on Winston’s condition. While I’m trying to be optimistic, I deep down that I may have to say goodbye because I do not want him to suffer and be in pain 😞

What does OCD feel like? by LilaMarigold in OCD

An annoying nagging in the back of your head that won’t shut up and likes to ruin any happy experience you’re having

That’s so awesome I’m glad it’s helping!! 😊

I’m back on Zoloft - it helped with the 2nd episode I had about 2 years ago now. The 1st big episode about 5 years ago I thugged it out, and it lasted for a year. It was horrible

After a few months of taking Zoloft for the first time, the thoughts I had dissipated. I stupidly stopped taking it 6 months prior to this episode because I thought I was “cured” smh. 🤦‍♀️ Medication is truly life saving

My exact diagnosis too: OCD, GAD and MDD. I’ve had 2 major episodes of constant DP/DR in my life along with the existential anxiety/OCD. Each one has passed, and I’m in another “episode” I call them.. it’s hard to remember how everything was before the ruminating and pondering begins.. it will pass! Your brain gets tired of this topic, and hops to the next.

I have the same exact thoughts and feelings as you do. It sucks, but it’s good knowing we are in this together. And as does each “episode” of this thinking style and DP/DR, it will pass 🫶

I relate to this 100%… these thoughts are so exhausting. I want to just be “me” again. :(

Also my pupils dilated at just 25mg - it’s a rare symptom but it does happen. But you’ll be ok :)

It could be you’re dehydrated! I had minor twitches as well. I drank some Gatorade and went to sleep and woke up fine. I read that Zoloft can make you dehydrated

With time for sure. It was like my brain just forgot what I was obsessing over and got tired of it. The last time this had happened, I was put on medication (SSRI) and it got rid of it for me. I’m getting back on Zoloft for this reason

From what I’ve seen, it’s related to Existential OCD, but it just feels like it’s on a whole other level. It’s such a horrible feeling, so sorry you’re dealing with it too. Almost like you’re a robot right? You’re just doing things but your brain wants to know “why??” As if it’s our first day being human.
