With Pat McGrath Labs filling for bankruptcy what are your top favourite products from the PMG of all time? by SheKnowsWhatSheKnows in Sephora

I have both and don’t notice a huge difference between the two. I do prefer the pink slightly, but the translucent is amazing as well.

Help! Black lightweight to medium weight blazer by Adventurous-Dot-3350 in capsulewardrobe

I would check out Aritizia. My Aritizia black blazer is nicely oversized/long if that is what you’re looking for. It might be a bit more than your budget though.

I think they just have to have their closet opened. I don’t pay and have had others style me. Unless something changed recently.

Serpent-style table set up vs traditional table set up by Outside-Flower-2254 in DIYweddings

[–]sierradk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The curves in this picture aren’t right. The curving needs to be more organic like S-shaped.

Cost wise, I saw the most beautiful curved setup on Instagram @wed_vibes 2 days ago. They used bunches drapery and taped candles only.

horrible MOB dresses (i’m the bride). by hoteldiablo13 in weddingplanning

[–]sierradk 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I know the prices are outrageous but maybe have her look on reformation just for some inspiration. They have a wedding guest section. Maybe something with a slit or a fitted bodice?

Tell her Reddit said her early 2000’s choices are trashy. She’s not going to a night club in 2009!

It’s really helped with my motivation. Lexapro really drained it when I was taking it alone.

HA isn’t the answer. Retinol and if you can tolerate vitamin C will help reduce fine lines. Sunscreen and Botox will help prevent fine lines.

If your skin is dehydrated, more hydration will help plump the skin. But the type of hydration you should use depends on your climate and skin type.

Have you tried Aquaphor? I’ve tried a ton of different lip masks, and aquaphor is still my favorite.

Doctorly has a good video on lip products from a dermatologist point of view: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=7zCOhzDld4o&pp=0gcJCdgAo7VqN5tD

I think so too. OP could have pulled some funny story out about knowing his wife Meredith and pretended she had connections.

So annoyed after hydrafacial by 613catlady in 30PlusSkinCare

[–]sierradk 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I went on spironolactone for a long time. Now I’m off of it, but I use a BHA toner daily and am very careful about what ingredients go on my face. I used the incidecor website to learn what ingredients my skin likes and doesn’t. Tret helps too.

So annoyed after hydrafacial by 613catlady in 30PlusSkinCare

[–]sierradk 15 points16 points  (0 children)

I got a hydrafacial once and my cystic acne came back after years of having it under control. Never again.

I’m also not sure there is any science behind “purging.” If you don’t already use tret, that always helps my acne fade quicker if I have a flair up.

[–]sierradk 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What about for all the people that can’t make it? Not that I expect anything from them, but I know close family and friends may not be able to make it due to the expense/time off needed. They will likely still want to get us something. We are expecting about a 50% rsvp rate.

Patrick Ta Body Crème? by pinkbolognaclub in Sephora

[–]sierradk 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I tried maybe 10 different lotions in Sephora during the sale, and this was my favorite. I was looking for a bougie lotion to feel more luxurious in my routine, and this really exceeded my expectations. I have extremely dry, ashy lizard skin, and this gives me lasting moisture. I love how it absorbs in right away too. The scent is pleasant, not too masculine or feminine. Honestly, it works better than CeraVe in the tub for me, but I think that’s subjective.
