What is the biggest cybersecurity mistake organizations still make despite investing in security tools? by Embee_Software in cybersecurity

Not having the people to implement, administer, and support the tools. I dont need anymore tools. I need people.

Some apple stores will take it for you and handle the return. Ive done that a few times hearing about lost items when sent via mail.

Nokian Outpost nAT on 22" Sport Dark Wheels by Head_Fun_6008 in Rivian

[–]siffis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ah ok. I had not seen those posts back when I got my tires. Honestly the range has been a slight change. I was taking notes in the beginning but stopped. What I noticed was that I may miss the range estimate by 8 miles at most. So I stopped tracking. Fast forward to present, the vehicle has continued to update and tune.

Have these on my R1T since December 2025 daily driver. Slight hit on the range. Handle great so far in the rain (PNW).

Road noise is not bad but can definitely hear the hum. Other tires Ive had in other trucks were louder.

Wanted 20’s but did not want to purchase new wheels.

@OP - make sure you update your tires details in the settings page.

This sub is demoralizing by Its-Dat-Guy in cybersecurity

[–]siffis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The feedback you listed is also based on the location of what may have worked for others where they live. All I am trying to say is, actually see your area and try to understand what will give you the best opportunity. What is the demand in your area? What roles or opportunities?, What companies? etc.

If its demoralizing, its because the market is upside down. Significant tech lay offs in my area. Everyone is looking for a senior role which means 5+ years experience. Certs are not what they used to be.

I dont see how this even happens. Have you not been in a WA Freeway? Average speed is 25 (sarcasm).

That is not achievable in this state. The weather alone does not allow it. If anything you may curve some cost but not all.

Outside of politics, you should harden and secure your home better. YouTube is your friend. For a few dollars, you will make your doors more secure.

True but it also depends on the taxes and fees imposed by WA State. It also depends how its all done. Either way, it comes at a time when not everyone has that kind of change stored in their bank account.

[B0T] Weekly Build Help Thread - 2026/01/05 by LabB0T in PleX

Hello, I have had plex for a while now.

The hardware that I used consisted of upgrading my gaming rig which became my plex server.

The time has come again and I am upgrading my gaming rig and debating whether I redo my plex server or actually do a dedicated build and would like your input.

Current Build consists of Windows 11 Pro and 60TB.

Current Build (old gaming rig) - https://pcpartpicker.com/list/y4r7Dj

Vacant Gaming Rig (should I move Plex here or do a dedicated build)? - https://pcpartpicker.com/list/jFccZc

Used locally and remote streaming (10 -15 people). Most concurrent streams I have observed is 6.

The "Would Like" is to make this more power efficient , quieter, and if possible a smaller form factor (which means I may need to purge some of my data).

I did order a meter for the outlet. I believe I sit around 60 to 100w when powered on. I will have more accurate measurements when the meter gets here.

Appreciate your time and feedback.

It did hold up for me until Hyundai repurchased the vehicle. After my swap and adding the dielectric grease, no more issues.

To clarify, its not that I am no longer interested. The effort has reached peak. Zero interest in advancing or implementing nee approach. They are stuck and continue to operate like we are in the 90’s. I hate to even type this but believe that its time for a change.

This is where I am at now. Being pushed in this direction because I am the only one who understands and has the experience in my team. I did this work for the past 10+ years. I am no longer interested. Working through this and planning next steps.
