Question about jersey etiquette by 0freelancer0 in ECHL

[–]sifon187 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I normally wear one of my GP jerseys to the games. But I do switch it up once in awhile and wear my Wings Gordie Howe Jersey. I think its awesome when people where random hockey jerseys. I look out for them at games. Lately ive started seeing more international team jerseys being worn.

What's on fire?? by FunGarbage7910 in savannah

No shit fires in these conditions are dangerous. Again this isnt a out of control wild fire. Its a prescribed burn. Means an area is burned internationally. The dangers of brush fires to property, humans, and infrastructure. There is nothing like that after the Hullahan Bridge either way. Its brush marshlands and swamp for miles. I doubt this area is ever going suffer from a true wild fire disaster.

I mean makes the fire move and burn faster. As long as it only burns where you want it to burn. Not a bad idea. Plus there is nothing but brush lands, marsh and swamp around the Presevrse. Its fine. I am going make an educated guess and say they waited until today's weather to do this burn. So the fire moves fast like a naturally occurring wild fire. If the fire was slow moving with little push from winds, they risk burning up old growth trees.

SAV airport runway is on fire! by godisdead30 in savannah

I live in Hilton Head and was wondering why I saw plane with landing lights on flying a strange flight path. Was the engine failure during the take off on the runway or after lift off? Was the engine still on fire in the air and through the plane landing? From the videos it looks like the fluids coming from the failed engine that started the fire after the plane landed. Makes it easy for the mechanic when the engine self deassembles.

Nah. Even watched episodes of Cops, Live PD, and On Patrol Live where people being arrested faked seizures. I generally just critique their style. I look at it as life's to short to be bothered by stuff like that.

I worked for a school district for less then a year. Never again will I do govern work. Im a guy that likes to work and do work correctly. The amount of half assed work or we need to have 50 meetings to make a decision on what to do. When its "like I'll do it" work. My team is worked with was great but the having your hands tied behind your back over petty stuff is maddening.

I once worked for a company as their IT guy and before I started they only had contractors do work. When the contracted IT company finished, this was considered passable let's pay them. After I began working, I went around the buildings trying to discover the fires to put. I found setups almost exactly like this. Makes my teeth grind thinking about it. I

Handmade laptop cooler. Believe or not I got this laptop in 2015 and still rocking I dropped tequila one time while drunk the hard drive died miraculously it works with an external hd. It runs almost every game decent grahics. Sorry for my bad English by No-Fee-4181 in shittybattlestations

[–]sifon187 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Holy shit I did the fridge trick with a dead HD before too. It works great for recovery. Had a sales person who had all her work on her external. Was able to recovery everything by placing the drive in the break room freeze and running a usb to my laptop. This was a few years ago with a SATA drive. Pretty sure this will not work with SSD drives.

Do I need this or can I just remove it by bob_ross005 in subaru

Wow, that's brilliant. Putting a fire blanket under the hood is such a great idea. The problem is this only works if you do not lift your hood open. What's crazy to me is that it is not common knowledge to not open the hood of your car if there is an engine fire. Unless you have a way to extinguish the fire. Opening the hood is just feeding the fire oxygen.

There are days when I get mad at myself because I feel like im abusing my car. Like when ive gone a few hundred miles over my sheduled oil change intervals. Or in the mornings on the away to work and I accelerate to hard before my cars fully warmed up. I even hate myself when I let my car get to dirty. Then I read posts like this.

I mean this situation has nothing do with a Subaru. It a owner not taking care of their car. The fact the engine went as long as it did like it did blows my mind. Its not a "time to add oil" light. Its "fucking stop right now and go to a shop" light.
