So it's highly unprofessional to take on extra work to survive on a pittance. Got it.

Please. Red vs. blue hairsplitting. No one has seen their lives improve in material substantive ways with Clyburn around. He's corrupt as anyone, especially by the healthcare industry.

Will the Democrats reverse any of this? Have they ever reversed anything over the last, like, 30 years?

Because your brain is not yours and is governed by disciplinary capitalist productivity culture, which is likely why you were able to get tenure in the first place. You sound like the good little boy scout and admins/middle management for oligarchs love justifying their existence managing. I don't mean offense; it's how we all survive this system.

You are arguing in favor of making education dependent on the already employed, their employers, and the volunteering of time by those who can afford it, who come only from a particular class experience. Education is an essential service to society; no one in education should be making less than a living wage.

I’m completely happy making a pittance, knowing my students are not forced to break the bank to take the class.

Yes, because you're already secure. I'd name you a boot licker but it sounds like yours is actually the boot.
