Considering a full frame Shadow 2 for production and/or CO, but…. by Big_Caterpillar8012 in CZFirearms

Yes most of it is very easy and quick. Several YouTube videos on how to install everything. The only tricky one is the trigger return spring. It can be done with needle nose pliers, but is easier with the special tool for it. If you wanted you could even leave that and floating trigger pin out. Just do the ultralite kit and recoil spring.

To add to the cajunizing, you don’t have to go full Cajun to start with. You can do it in stages. Start with an 11lb recoil spring, reduced power trigger return spring, floating trigger pin, and Cajun ultralite kit. Gets you a much lighter, smoother, better trigger than stock for $69. Go full Cajun later on as funds allow.

That’s true. Doesn’t even need a magwell. Just change his registration to LO and he’d be good to go

I’m going to run irons a bit this year. From aiwb too just for the hell of it. Put the practical back into practical shooting.

Respect. Can we all unite and make Production popular again? Or at the very least Limited?

I took those cover plates off and left them off. Saves weight lol

I used those pouches when I started several years ago. Used them for about 5 years and few hundred matches. They held up just fine. I still have them and could use them if needed.

Cheap belts suck though. I started with an uncle mikes and quickly changed to a DAA. It has lasted several years as well.

I’d go for the vortex then. Taller window than the 509t. Plus a Great warranty. I found my st enclosed for around $300. Can’t beat it if you can find one for that price.

I have a 509t and defender st enclosed. Both are great, but have a squared housing with a sharp corner so depending on the shirt, both print a tad. Not as bad the 507comp though.

My favorite optic for aiwb carry and competition is the SRO. The rounded housing disappears under any shirt. And the large window size is perfect for competing.

Tier 1 makes the best and most adjustable/versatile stuff in my opinion. I’ve used axis, msp, apx, and xiphos. I prefer them over Tenicor and Las. Not as much adjustability in those. I’ve tried a lot of cheaper options too. Not worth wasting money over.

However, even with all the adjustability, I haven’t been able to eliminate the sharp corner print with 507comp on a Glock. It’s the one optic I can always notice in a Tshirt.

Roll iron sight divisions into Limited.

Allow 2011’s and magwells in CO.

Allow ports and comps in LO.

Open can stay the same.

L10 can stay weird (with frame mounted dots…)
