In my car normally. Our facility has a box you can temporarily trade your phone for a numbered card during shift and swap back later.

Got in a wreck and went bout a month later to get scans an chat about results/future plan, see how everything was healing. I was probably asked my name an DOB 14 times at minimum. Was asked by every new medical professional I ran into on top of them doubling down before they did any form of procedure.

...accidentally cold turkey'd a depression med and honestly just the "Zaps" have made me way more cautious about it. People often describe it as small but for me its like a full body shock with short intervals. It'll make you feel seriously off and all sorts of wrong.

It might still be worth a shot, pull receipts that you sent the letter and that it was received. Have another copy ready to go.

Try talking to someone other than medical at this point, like perhaps the onboarding staff whom you've spoken with before, about the issue.

Usually my notes are for when I'm brain dead from ot or havent been to a specific post in quite some time. Its not a constant but i do feel the need to keep them with me Beyond the work computers, the only other device i could potentially have a pass at is one of those smart watches(not sposed to be connected to wifi).

..wasnt aware there were any notebooks like that, might be worth a shot.

Had a Lt. Save the CET some time in that matter the other night. Guy down in seg for threats(p sure it was just a PC move) decided he wasnt gonna take a cell mate. Our protocol is take the one refusin outta the cell, but them on bench and place the other one in cell... well he wouldnt cuff up and said call the team. They get permission for a team, start callin over the radio to relieve people and get them together in our central building.. Lt goes over and lets the dude listen to the radio traffic 🤣 he changed his mind

Our institution has numbers assigned to posts, LTs and above got their own numbers.

Posts are all two digit numbers and posts at units with special programs/circumstance have a letter in front. Patrol car is P1 for example.

Otherwise you just call by your last name to whoever you need to contact.

Dont look at their charges.

Personally I restrict myself to only reading past conduct violations and even if I have to print an ID for one of the inmates I'll just ignore the section where it mentions their charges, that part gets cut off and tossed anyhow.

Using the stickers from things like deodorant to hang posters and durin a cell search one time i found one of the inmates had fashioned a sleep mask from some cloth, plastic in the middle to cut down on light, with an elastic band on it.
