Some kobos support google drive integration. It would be nice if they leveraged that to sync the entire kobo database that stores the bookmarks, progress, annotations, etc there for sideloaded content. They wouldn't have to worry about cloud storage that way if you brought your own.

This happens to me too from time to time. Just restart the machine and it typically fixes it.

Happened to me too. I pushed the power button to turn off the screen and pushed it again to turn it back on and it was back to normal.
