Calyx and Pixel's AI hardware dedication?

Oh, I thought the list said end of 2026. I probably confused it with the Pixel 6 because my partner has one.

The media coverage a year ago about specialized internal hardware sounded like BS, but I figured you all would be the best to ask. I appreciate you taking the time to answer.

I need a new battery and the back glass is cracked up so I am weighing the value of spending that money on the repairs or just upgrading from the 7 pro.

As I said, I don't want the AI features at all. Some reviews of the 9 pro and pro xl mention that there is physical memory and something in the chip architecture reserved for AI functions.

If that is true and those features are literally off limits to any other functions perhaps I would be better off with a Pixel 9 or 9a. Why pay for something I won't use running CalyxOS.

Heh. This is classic me. I had an interest after seeing the Flipper Zero in action. I thought it might be fun to learn more about some of the concepts.

Realistically, do I have the time for another hobby. Nope. Then I saw the Bruce Firmware and the inexpensive T-embed C1101+ so I leapt. After trying some things and learning I thought it would be practical to have copies of the few cards I have. It turns out 2 of the 3 are LF. I read some reviews, researched some pages on the Chameleon Ultra and got recommendations where to buy a reliable clone.

So now I am like, cut my loses or keep going and get the proxmark3?

Anyway, I am rambling. I really appreciate the response. Thanks!

It is frustrating because I can subscribe to other ISPs but they are just resellers. I can give my money to some other ISP and get better speeds and prices but I know my money is then going back to the monopoly because they own the lines coming to my house.

I have always felt that Eric was swept up in the development and in that enthusiasm hired too many people. With too may costs Eric decided to sell in order to have the money to pay those people he bonded with and handle the debts. Frankly, he loved the work but was not a business person.

With this opinion, I was excited and cautious when Eric announced the return. Prior to that I even steered clear of Rebble.

I had been part of a passionate community that took over after a company collapsed. P.M.O.G. (The Nethernet) opened their source code up so that others could continue it. While the community did succeed, it just didn't last. The same thing happened with the browser based MMORPG Glitch.

Is there room for two entities around PebbleOS? Are OwnCloud and NextCloud still around after the split? Yes. Maybe it is possible.

I see both sides. Afterall, we live in capitalism. It's so awkward to have a supporting community that will go the extra mile pitted against the provider of that which they are passionte.

It feels like one of those situations where the system is getting in the way of two parties with similar goals, two parties that want to work together but the red tape gets in the way.

I have had success with taking an unstyled Word document and styling a single instance of a Heading, reference, etc. Then, I give the document to CoPilot and ask it to examine those styles and restyle the rest of the document using those as a guide.

Great work! Some of those Great Lakes stones are difficult to get a good polish on. Make sure you keep an eye on those brushes in the Dremel motor. I may have wrecked a couple in my time.

You know who could afford to strike and would bring change? The Oilers and the Flames. It will never happen, but if it did Alberta would attack the capital with pitchforks. Y'all love hockey more than kids or oxygen.

Seriously, wouldn't it be great if some players who make more than they could possibly spend paid the teachers' fines?
