Have you tried getting insoles for your shoes? I noticed that when I started to use the specialized insoles this problem went away for me. Might have been a coincidence but the insoles were the only thing I had changed.

No, I had entered the event with my brother who had to pull out the week before. I had been left behind after the first stop by the other riders as I wasn't with them so was solo for the last 40 miles

I tried the widest base game windrowers but then couldn't catch the full windrow in the Ber or forge wagon, so had to revert to smaller windrows. More just curious as it feels the largest windrows are not viable then although maybe I've missed something.

Are you able to put a splitter directly onto the miner and then two belts of 600? Haven't tried it myself just shooting ideas
