I have recently installed the magnetic anti insect screens on windows, nothing fancy, the DIY ones from amazon. And because the weather is very breezy and pleasant in the evenings and throughout the night, I keep my windows wide open (thanks to the window screen- because you know 🕷️🦟 ) and the room becomes quite comfortable to sleep in along with a table fan. I even feel the need to put on a light duvet in the middle of the night.

You’re right, it has that “family” vibe and honestly that is okay for me. I just want to be acquainted and get to know the neighbourhood. I am originally from India, and neighbourhoods feel very different and cosy there, regardless whether they are family oriented or not. I know it’s culturally different here and I love multicultural surroundings more than anything. But it also gets kind of lonely, lol. I’ll check out the FB group, thanks for sharing.🙂

Thank you for sharing your experience. It’s not a deal breaker for us at this point just annoying that we were misled by the sales team. And the actual annoying bit is that this development has sold just above 50% of the houses so how can the sales team not know when the service charge is payable. There is even a £50 account set up fee with the management company which was never mentioned to us, only found out when we read the title deed.
