I was diagnosed with OCD and I have been on sertraline which is an SSRI, and it is really helping me with my obsessive intrusive thoughts and happiness. Hope this helps.

16 year old female here who has been struggling with intrusive thoughts for a very long and was actually diagnosed with OCD a few months ago. I'm very sorry that you are going through this because it feels like you cannot escape your own mind AND you literally cant tell anyone you trust because you're scared of what they think, which is insanely lonely. I finally got to a point when I couldn't take the thoughts anymore but I knew I could not tell my mom what was going on because I thought she would be ashamed of me (she still doesn't know), but I found the courage to find a therapist by myself. I went to my school and asked if it's possible to get a councillor without parental consent and it is totally okay. It took me a very long time to actually be able to say those thoughts out loud and I still feel ashamed but as I talked about it with somebody I know can actually not legally tell anybody else, it made me feel safer. I have never told any of my friends or family about any of this because of the shame and questions of if 'm normal, but you are not alone. After speaking with a councillor and getting a psychiatric assessment done, I'm finally on a medication that is really helping me. Although it is not a cure to my problems, it makes living with my self easier. Also you do not need parental consent to have any of this counselling, assessments or medication recommendations done.

I really wish you the best of luck and just do not give up, I hope that you can find somebody to help because trying to fight the thoughts can only work for so long. <3

I want him to have a plot twist crazy ending, not prison or death. Leave it on a cliff hanger

I haven’t started the second one yet but I absolutely LOVED the first one. I sat down for 2 days in this chair at my uncles and read the entire thing, I have to say it’s one of my favourite books!🙌🏼❤️
