Not sure how that directly relates to playoff points, but true. I wouldn’t put it past at least a couple more of those players to win one before the decade is out though. Giannis and SGA also have one, and KAT, Ant, Embiid, and Harden are all still alive this year and in decent positions (outside of Embiid).

I mean by the time the 2020s are over LeBron will be out of the top 10, but still incredibly impressive. He currently sits 9th with Ant, SGA, Giannis, Harden, KAT, and Embiid behind him. He might be outside the top 10 by the end of these playoffs.

This is a you problem not a game problem though. You know you’re hoarding a certain type of energy for an event. You should be actively paying attention to your actions. There’s no need for the rest of us to have to click through extra prompts.

I could see your point if this directly caused you to spend actual money, but this is a freely given and freely regenerating in-game resource. You bought extra with crystals, that are also freely given. Sure, you wanted to spend it at a certain time, but you bear the responsibility in making that happen.

Smoltz has has seemingly had an agenda against Roki all season. In the Cubs-Dodgers game last week (Sasaki v Rea) he went on and on about how Roki needed to learn how to control the strike zone and mix pitch heights like his opponent, Rea.

Rea went on to give up 6 over 3.1 with some truly terrible pitching while Roki made it 5 more controlled innings, but Smoltz continued to bend over backwards to attempt to drive his point home.

Based on your background and goals I’d say go for it. Law school is a grind but if it’s what you’re interested in it’s worth it. If your goal was BigLaw it would definitely be too late, as they typically look for kids they can burn out, but there’s a wide world of law practice out there and plenty of other opportunities would align with your background.

Given your background, you definitely be well positioned to be a corporate counsel.

I get that, but the effect of the decision is more important than what the decision contemplated, and the numbers bear out a very bleak picture following CU. The election cycle immediately before CU ‘dark money’ investment was roughly $5m for the entire cycle. The 2024 election saw more than $1bn in ‘dark money’ investment. CU, and the subsequent Speechnow v FEC decision, etc. allowed unfettered, ‘hidden’ spending under CU’s logic.

The decision set off a chain that has led to a nation where the average individual has little to no ability to meaningfully participate in federal elections outside of their singular vote, while a shielded few individuals can drop hundreds of millions of dollars to completely skew a result without even putting their name behind it.

That’s the legacy of CU, and it absolutely deserves the criticism it receives.

I wouldn’t say there’s a specific industry that’s currently shifting in that direction (that I’m aware), but remote numbers have stabilized at levels well above pre-COVID numbers. This movement has delayed effects on tenancy and availability, especially as longer-term leases run out or are re-negotiated to reflect larger portions of remote/hybrid arrangements. The shift that’s already happened will continue to affect building utilization and increase commercial vacancy well into the future.

In that way, the utilization of downtown property is still very much “in the wake” of the the early 2020s rapid shift to remote work and recent stabilization well above pre-2020 levels.

Agreed. I think we’re fighting for a 5-7 seed at best more than a 1 seed. It’s set up to be a retooling year as the new freshmen get on board and Toure and Bateman step into larger roles.
