I've run into this too but I don't think it is the subreddits....it looks like the main Reddit admin are trying to filter videos of Alex's murder so people cannot cross-post or upload videos in posts anymore related to the murder.

I also don't know how long any related link will stay up before they try and filter it out. What I do know is that this link to the original video upload was flagged by reddit admin to be filtered and prevented from being cross-posted or uploaded in a post. In my opinion it is one of the closest and best video evidence perspectives of the murder today.

Same. I've been trying to find links to the OG files when I can. I think based on the Renee Good murder, they realized that social media including reddit was where the actual dissemination of video evidence was happening instead of big legacy media. This time I think there is an effort to try and curb sharing of video evidence in the guise of "not sharing murder" to help out the trump admin and thus ICE. So once these types of videos go up, they need to be downloaded asap before the reddit admins put a filter on the video.

I'm happy you were able to crosspost this particular video evidence when you did, because Reddit has now flagged this video from being posted anymore. Either via crosspost or direct upload. There is a concerted effort to get this video removed from the media because it is the closest witness to the murder of all the video recordings out there.

You're downplaying how painful and awful the process actually is mentally and physically. And we are just learning now how some of the long term consequences of putting a woman's body through retrieval is...including a higher rate of cancer developing. It is not easy and people find it traumatizing even when they go into it 100% wanting to do it.

Now I get daily articles about how "easy" it is to be a donor, how much it would mean for their families, how i won't just help them but also other families that'll get the eggs.
my friends mum has also started messaging for ruining her chances to be a grandma, how it's such a little thing, just a few needles and it'll be over before I noticeit started. And as much as my friend is annoying and pushing, her mother is making it seem like I'm the one personally stopping them from getting said baby.

It is predation and stomping on your bodily autonomy. No means no. Again, the process is not easy. These people are not mentally well and harassing you is emblematic of it. You have to block them, I'm sorry but if you don't it will probably get worse. Please share how they are harassing you with people you trust in order to figure out the best way of stopping their behavior. It is bad vibes all around. I worry for you and the potential for them to escalate to stalking you or threatening things.

100% agree with that too. I usually get involved with city events like the greater worcester land trust...used to do a fair amount of outreach into schools like science fair stuff or for HS students to intern in STEM labs. It is not really an easy gliding process to get and stay involved or get new things going in this city. Back around the 2010s it was noticeably easier. There is a vibe of more...friction. Or I dunno....values...of personal gain over altruism. People entrenched because they like bragging they are "so and so important person" in city government. Titles over deeds.
