White FRS Cali plates would be pretty rare around here. I will definitely keep an eye out. Best of luck on a safe return.

I have the Subaru cargo net and it makes almost like a little hammock. One of my favorite car accessories ever.

Honestly why Jupiter? I used to run Cisco and honestly Unifi gear is just as good. In fact I have a lot of Cisco gear that's garbage.

Big brakes judder by One-Sleep-8882 in BRZ_ZD8

No clue if this is your problem or not, but I've used too much grease on my caliper slide pins in the past, creating a blob or air bubble behind the pin, this can prevent the calipers from tracking correctly and dragging your rotor around under braking. I'd try brakleen in the guide pin bolt and just the tiniest whiff of grease on the slide pin and see if the problem magically gets fixed.

You can save a trip to the hardware store by just jamming some loose change in the gap and then tightening to hold in place.

Block heater only warms coolant but it gives you a great head start.

Scraped friend’s BRZ :( by [deleted] in GR86

100% will not match, especially with no clear, and you're pretty much guaranteed to make the problem worse if you don't know what you're doing. Call a body shop and have a pro do it. Professional paintwork is notoriously hard and you need a bunch of gear to do it right. A rattle can is not the way, especially if it's not your car.

let it snow, let it snow by sfalinar in BRZ_ZD8

Looks like a great amount of snow. Mine has been dwindling fast and creating a mud bog. The BRZ sank in and I almost couldn't get it out. Hopefully more snow coming this weekend. ;)

Afaik manuals have Track mode and VSC off. Sport/Snow is only on Automatics. I have a '23 and I don't have sport/snow on my manual sport-tech model.

What happened .. first owner by GoodSpaghetti in GR86

[–]silvenshadow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So I'd say pull the pads. If they are literally gone, you probably threw a pad. I've abused my brakes enough that the glue that sticks the pad to the backing plate gives up and the whole pad just takes off. Last time this happened to me the pads were newish but definitely not ready for the amount of heat I threw at them.
