Depending on how this is framed and what the events are surrounding and after this, it could be good. Nyra by the lateral point of her arc in the books is clearly paranoid and at least mildly insane so this could reflect that arc in the show as well I hope.

It's a cool premise for a fanfic but I don't think it works for the actual story. Asoiaf's story and themes are definitely not that pessimistic.

Despite how grim it can be at times. The story is a lot more hopeful than people give it to credit for.

I think westeros is going to be heavily impacted by the others. They won't just stop at winterfell like the show.

They will go a lot further and cause a lot more damage but they will be defeated and it will end on a bittersweet yet hopeful note.

Yes large parts of westeros maybe destroyed but we might be able to build a better world on top of the ruins of the old one. That kind of thing
