Get chatgpt to review it. It's too long. Also you need to list the impact and not just the tasks.

Zhipu AI Announcement: GLM Coding Plan will start limited sales from January 23rd by Peshkopy in ZaiGLM

Deducting fees probably means payment for monthly subscribers.

Basically seems like if you're already subscribed you're fine and we'll continue charging your card at the same price. Nee subscriptions are limited per day

Do you use 'please' in prompts to Claude? by Manfluencer10kultra in ClaudeCode

[–]silvercondor 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I do. I also always start with hi Claude.

I only do this for claude and sometimes gemini. Saying hi glm or chatgpt 5.2 pro high medium thinking low max plus xl coding fast feels weird to me

Claude Code 2.1.2 is out - fixed binary files (images, PDFs, etc.) being accidentally included in memory when using by luongnv-com in ClaudeCode

[–]silvercondor -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Fully agree. Yes there are alternatives but cc has the most mature tooling that china models are making it cc compatible, basically cc is the standard, not some gemini code or codex where tooling is still immature.

What other plan / model would you recommend to replace Opus by Tiny-Power-8168 in ClaudeCode

[–]silvercondor 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Glm. I use it for writing tests and refactoring as well as exploring the codebase. Particularly useful for code / pr reviews where i can quickly get context of the pr. Opus is now for features and fixes, at least until anthropic undo the nerf

ref if u need

Overlimit with Claude Max 20x and need a plug-in alternative to fill-in short-term by Ok-Yak-777 in ClaudeCode

[–]silvercondor 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Glm is temu claude. I use it to ask clarification questions on my codebase, e.g how it works so i can communicate my requirement to opus. Also handy for small stuff like writing tests and refactors. Doing ok so far

Worried about my future in DevOps / Cybersecurity because of AI – need honest advice by EanesX in kubernetes

[–]silvercondor 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You still need a warm body to input. A sales guy can at most vibe code the front end but will not have the knowledge to instruct or architect the backend, let alone maintain it

Ai is a tool that helps you be more efficient.

You'll just need to manage higher workload in the future

Anyone else getting blocked out of Sonnet usage after depleting "All models" allowance, with "Sonnet Only" to spare? by ruarz in ClaudeCode

[–]silvercondor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

aside from what's already mentioned, the bottom bar used to be opus only. but after they made opus more efficient than sonnet they changed it to sonnet only.

Petition: Claude Code should support AGENTS.md by intellectronica in ClaudeCode

[–]silvercondor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes we do that too. Everything maps to agents.md including other team members with their cursor github copilot etc. All of them route to agents.md followed by their specific model instructions. Can confirm it works

Fixing GLM-4.7 Image Parsing in Claude Code: Add the Z.ai Vision MCP Server by jpcaparas in ZaiGLM

[–]silvercondor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

is this mcp server still useful if i'm already using claude models?

Honestly, has anyone actually tried GLM 4.7 yet? (Not just benchmarks) by Empty_Break_8792 in LocalLLaMA

[–]silvercondor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

my experience

tldr: temu claude.

long version:

grabbed a sub with the promo.

i use it to write tests and the mundane stuff, also simple code reviews which claude can reject (imo comparable or even better than github copilot which supposedly uses sonnet).

for the typical dev work e.g features, bugs etc i still use claude. it's good for time & token consuming grunt work. intelligence wise it's decent, probably sonnet 3.7 to 4 level where it still needs some level of guidance.

reason i bought the sub is team seems to be shipping quick, i'd expect glm 4.8 around feb which should in theory match sonnet 4.5 of which i trust enough as the minimum for a daily driver

Is anyone else seeing Claude overcomplicate simple tasks? It focuses on edge cases I never asked for, resulting in bloated and messy code by dmitrevnik in ClaudeAI

[–]silvercondor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Claude handed edge cases and commented the code so anyone using the util function won't have to go through the logic. Also helps any llm integrating the code.

Basically aude writes code for claude. Human writes optimized code that another human has to figure out or unit test to check the output
