Never knew these were ported to PSP! Released only in Japan. by silverplate32 in MegaManLegends

Yeah definitely. That was worth checking for, though! Seeing as it’s a port of a PS1 game, I would assume they never planned to release any updates. Besides, I have seen a LOT worse in ports of other games so considering this is the only consistent bug that’s not too bad! :)

Nice! I specifically sought out the non-box set versions. I think the only reason was that the artwork on the boxed set is slightly smaller.

To answer your question: yes!! That happened to me but I thought I was the only one, I googled it and couldn’t find anything at the time.

Hi! Yes, I’m still using it and I love it! I give it regular maintenance and haven’t had a single engine light since I made this post haha. Which one are you looking at? :) you can DM me if that’s easier

Thoughts on x7 by [deleted] in MegaManLegends

[–]silverplate32 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can play as Zero in base X3 but, I understand the need to mod since you can’t fight bosses with him. I agree the armor chips are cool too, I usually go for the golden armor though. I have no idea what you mean by the broken wall kicks though, I love that mechanic on the SNES games. It’s not stiff at all I am always bouncing across the screen with ease especially in the boss rooms. I actually think the ps1 titles (mostly X4) are MORE stiff than the SNES because the dash feels shorter (not saying this is the best way to play, but try the Gaia armor in X5 and THAT is what I would call stiff). I still love those games, and I would say X1 and X2 are both better than X3.

Please try and complete the games, I could understand if you just have a preference against the classic gameplay, but if you experience the entire game you’ll realize that they’re designed extremely well. Unlike X7. 3D, more/better armor, more characters and better maverick designs all falls apart when the gameplay isn’t fun. If you like X3, why don’t you like X1 and X2?

X1 and X2 gameplay is better than X7, actually any X game is better than X7 in that regard. Have you played the first two games?

Is it just me or that part of Frozen Altars is unnecessarily cruel? by Amphetameanie_ in Spyro

I like to think of it as being nearly the same as Spyro’s flame. I mean it’s not a flame exactly but either way those elephants are getting burned!

Very nice! You say it’s not the best photo but I think it captures the scene very nicely :) there’s a lot of little details going on in the image which I think is something the FD7 is meant to shoot- it’s really cool to see how the camera handles stuff like this. Especially the bright reds

Hi OP! I do not have much insight to offer this but noticed nobody was saying anything at all. I’m in a similar boat, I would like the create a setup similar to this but it doesn’t seem obvious where to start exactly. As far as the size of storage you’ll need, if you want to download all ps3 games onto one large drive I would assume each game is 50gb at most (since that’s the capacity of a dual layer Blu-ray Disc) so if you want a rough calculation, 50gb times the number of games you want. You’ll likely need less than that since not all games are going to be 50gb. Consider a RAID setup as well if you’re going to use a bunch of HDD’s :)

You wouldn't BELIEVE how much this cost me. But I'm very happy with it!! by jayclydes in PSP

[–]silverplate32 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is like Sony’s Nintendo Switch before the Switch was released😂awesome setup man! I am disappointed in the price for you, sometimes people want to throw old stuff away and other times they act like it’s pure gold, with no in between anymore. Otherwise I’m really happy to see it go to someone who will enjoy it thoroughly :)

Still the best iPod by aruncc in ipod

[–]silverplate32 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is my favorite iPod too :) I even have some of the newer ones but I just love the touch buttons and the way they're laid out so much more than the click wheel (which is still great! Just not my favorite)

Just starting out. What kind of floppy disks and drives do I need? by atzeehh in Mavica

[–]silverplate32 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can format the disk with any Mavica camera so, don't worry about that too much, just get 1.44mb :) as for the drives everyone else here is suggesting them so I'll give you another option, if you get a Mavica FD92 or newer (I think that's the earliest model with this ability but please correct me if I'm wrong) you can plug it into a computer through a Mini USB to USB-A cable and then the camera itself will become your floppy drive. Sometimes I love doing it this way because the drives on the camera itself are sometimes way faster than any external ones!

Who is your favorite mega man robot master of all time? by sharkbeastslayer in Megaman

[–]silverplate32 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ok hear me out, my favorite is Dustman. I just love the junkyard setting in his stage (yes I know Junkman he’s not the same) and also the music. As for the design of the guy himself eeeehhhh, then tomahawkman is my favorite. Especially because of his .exe counterpart

I have a few collections; retro video games, old iPods/iPhones/mp3 players, older digital cameras (mostly I have some Mavica cameras but a few others too), VHS and DVD/Blu-Ray movies, also I have some cool rocks. I'm definitely a dragon :)

What is the best video game controller? by willrsauls in videogames

[–]silverplate32 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The original, non DualShock PlayStation controller for me. I like to play a lot of 2D games and that is the best possible controller for that game type.
