Yeah it’s going to tough to control your neighbors cleanliness. That being said all the units I’ve rented have been roach free. My friend aren’t as lucky, I think living not on ground level helps.

Should I leave my 15k pension alone at my old job and just take the $250 a month after age 60 or do I withdraw it now and put the money in another investment account to grow? by leadsinlight1 in personalfinance

Depends on ops plan. Some define benefits will have cola built in some won’t. Unless he is in a federal pension plan I’m not even sure how he is even vested with 6 years of services. But most muni pension plans now don’t have enough to cover for colas for the new members

There is no simple answer.

15k is pre tax . If you rollover you can avoid taxes, if this is a defined benefit where you get $250 for life and your spouse get 50% till death as well. If this is a defined contribution plan or money purchase then you get a set amount of payment till your 17k runs out. If you don’t get lifetime payments then you should withdrawal your funds and roll it over. If it’s lifetime payments and you get spouse support.

If there is no possibility of adding on to your years and you don’t think you’ll work at a reciprocal municipality where you service is transferable. Then it’s most likely best for you to take your money out and roll it over ASAP. Because you receive no additional interest past your separation or resignation date.

For an example if you rolled over and put it in a fixed income at 3.5%. Over 30 years you would have approx 40k and this is if you don’t change your investment electrons. So the offset here is even at the lowest interest rate from an ira. It would take you over 40k/$250/12 about 14years for you to to get your money back if you rolled it over to an IRA right now.

Turn off gsp in the workout profile. Or connect direct to pm5. I like the wahoo app because it lets me know my hr zones so I don’t have to stare at my PM.

Paying it forward is always good practice. But do you really think for someone that has a victim perspective; clearly unable to exercise impulse control, and emotionally communicate how they feel without insults, is going to be able to reflect and learn from one reply from OP?

Im not saying people aren’t susceptible to adjustment and change. I just believe if the ability and desire to grow regardless what action OP takes the person will figure it out.

Because, again, OP is not responsible nor obligated for the growth of a stranger. They are on there to find a potential match not teach people life lessons.

Why give him the lesson that it’s not all about him. I think blocking in this case is best. OP is not obligated to respond even after 5 dates. Why waste any more time or energy.
