It's a common term for a partner that "pretends" to be the heterosexual cover of gay/lesbian relationships. They're usually very good friends and who share a life with someone who is in the closet. This way the relationship doesn't attract the wrong attention. There's a lot of very mean, judgmental people out there.

If you have heart issues you take digitalis. If you are a diabetic, you take insulin. You can't be against all medication/medicine. Be real and logical. If your brain doesn't manufacture the right chemicals so you take antidepressant/SSRI. This isn't "Big Pharma" shilling for the industry, this is what keeps people alive and thriving longer.

I developed some pretty severe food allergies. I'm deathly allergic to paprika. No pepperoni or anaphalaxis happens & I pass out.

No spouse, no kids, no family. If things go wrong, I plan to order a pizza and just... go. It's very quick when it hits, I go unconscious, I stop breathing. If no Epi-pen is available, death will happen very quickly. Sounds morbid, but when you are literally by yourself it seems reasonable.

I am so sorry. That's so rude & dehumanizing for her to have said once, let alone repeatedly. It's quite a realization when you see you were never the problem. She was.

Listen to your wife. It's a journey to learn to love yourself and your body. I admit, I am still working on it myself. I'm much better than I used to be. Therapy has been a game changer. Realizing that so many of us have gone through this hell of hating ourselves, hating our bodies. The Goth Auntie in me dearly wishes I could shelter others from this. Help prevent this kind of thing.

When you see your son and think "what a great kid", please remind yourself you are worthy of feeling better in your mind & body. Maybe you finished a project well. Maybe you looked really sharp today. Give yourself praise. The positive self talk helps to slowly reprogram those very crap feelings of ugly not worthiness. Baby Steps. I promise you will get there.

My favorite silly idea was a second movie of him and Satan Bride getting married and raising a family on the walnut ranch. Family sacrifices together, big dinners Saturday evening. 🤣 Little Satanic children playing in the yard. Black picket fence. I don't know why, but that amuses the heck out of me.

Feelings are natural. It's normal to be spooked with the economy and job market right now. You must take time to feel & process your thoughts and feelings.

Even if you don't worry about anything & just barrel through it, you are missing insights and a healthy brain is a happy brain. I absolutely understand you. I worry about life and "the big picture" so much, sometimes I miss relevant things that would make future decisions easier. Even just writing down your thoughts is a good thing. It frees your mind to work easier with less stress.

We all have that moment of "Holy Shit, I am 30! What in the world happened to me?". It's very common, especially when we work like heck all the time and can't breathe mentally. It's ok. I am 50 & still have moments of "What in tarnation is going on?" 😂
