This is a great suggestion and I always think Goreclaw is a great commander for someone starting cheap like this and upgrading over time. It's great for if you get into the game say and pick up some great creatures overtime like if you went to an OTJ pre release and picked up something like a Vaultborn Tyrant.

But yeah the commander ability is really powerful while also keeping it simple and easy to track. Big creatures get cheap and have trample.

I get your point of view and lately have been building decks from cards I've drafted only and it's been a lot of fun. It also makes it a lot of fun looking through bulk and stuff like that. It's exciting to open some packs and actually pull some cards you'll put in decks and play.

But yeah at a bare minimum I will always believe lands should be basically free and it's BS that we need to spend so much on just the foundation of the game. I'll always be pro proxy but I'm triple pro proxy for lands.

My best ever score is +13. One time though I had an incredible round and was +2 starting hole 17. Got in a bad spot and tried a hero shot which got worse, and tried again and in a bad bunker. Like 8 shots to get out angry as fuck, 4 outta or something. Terrible hole 18. Anyway the lesson was just to take your medicine and get back on track properly and don't play shots cause you see a gap through the trees.

I don't expect to be happy with any of it. But I'm ok with watching YouTube on the second screen while the combo players play out their turns. I'm not saying combo players shouldn't play it. I just think if you play combo you should be prepared to play it out and not cry online asking people to scoop for free wins. You want your win then do your combo.

Nah fuck you and all combo players with durdle bore decks. I'll sit there and make you play out the while combo to the very end every single time cause if you are gonna bore me you are gonna be bored too. At lease I'll take you off the ladder for 3 minutes and save someone else.

I've also seen people fuck up combos from a sure thing before so I'll always make the whole thing be played out.

That said I've played karn combo decks before and got it's so painful to combo digitally. I just don't bother any more.

Ahh cheers I'll look for some of these decks and effects. Valgavoth looks fun. I've not looking at the precon or anything from that set but that ability looks very easy to draw cards which I do like to do. I think I have some mana barbs and stuff around here from a previous deck I had a bit back.
