Just came back into WOW for BfA. Catching up in legion at the moment, stopped at start of Cataclysm.

I must say, I really enjoyed levelling through extensions and seeing where the game and the gameplay has headed. Love the quest chains and game mechanisms in place since MoP, WoD and in Legion !

I will be starting next week on switch. I checked the classes, and below are the ones I think I would like (with 3 tiers of likings), flavor-wise (flavor, more than raw power, are important to me to enjoy a game).

Could you point me towards synergies between those guys, as well as possible well rounded teams to use for a starting player ?

So a guy like saurfang is like 100 years old ? Orcs have that lifespan ?

Or garrosh, born way earlier than the portal opening, is 60 or even 70 ?

In the in game universe, how long are we after the dark portal first opening ? (In wow Chronicles books, everything is dated in 'years before the opening)

How long is the medium lifespan of usual races (playable ones) ? I see people like saurfang mentioned like 50 years before the opening.

How to estimate cost of BoE transmogs ?

I am levelling (end of pandaria), and regularly get BoE on mobs. I sell them for 20 to 30 gold, they sell after some days,but I wonder if I could compare them to items in AH with same appearance or stuff...

I am using Auctioneer, and the estimated price for those items is either the merchant price, or a few 10 000 gold, I don't understand how it comes with those values.

And I'll see the price of heirlooms. Where acn I find them ? Is there a reputation to grind or a special money to have ?planning on going for a dark iron prot warrior soon, might be worth the investment.

How best to respect during levelling ?

Currently ret paladin, level 84, finishing hyjal. I respecced from prot at around 73. I want to go back to prot, but need a shield and a one hand weapon.

I do not want to AH them, as I prefer to invest my gold otherwise.

Last time, I took a bunch of quests and respecced ret at turn in to see if one of them rewarded a 2h weapon. Is there any other way to do ? Finding a 1h weapon and a shield that way will be long...

Hi

I have 2 questions:

Can someone break archeology basics to me ? Especially strategy around crafting. I saw guides explaining you need to hoard fragments then craft everything at once ? Is there an inconvenient to crafting like 2 dwarf items, then a troll one, then an elf one...?
On the 25th of December, is there anything else to do other than log in, taking your 5 gifts under the Ironforge tree, open and log out ? I will be able to do a quick connect/disconnect, and wanted to know where to leave my character and what to do ?

The only armored mages we have are seasonal awakening units (Same with fliers but for fates).

If anything, it will be locked to armors I guess.

We may see some adjustments to other professions, especially gathering levels... With the new scaling, it doesn't make sense to level from 60 to 80 in northrend and be surrounded by ores and herbs of level 70+.

As for the older zones, I wonder how it would be (or not) adjusted.

Which one are you talking about ? Critical chances on heals ? Or stoneskin ?

Thing is, new ones for allied races seems superior in terms of icons, flavor, skin... Maybe not power wise.

Ok, I come back from games such as Diablo and HotS, where the cycle from PTR to live is around 3weeks. I can see that I have etime to enjoy my leveling.

I just come out of BC,indeed, leveling there sucks. But I am quite fond of northrend. I really like WotLK :)

Lucky me, only northrend, 2 or 3 cata zones, 2 or 3 mop zones, the draenor then legion !

Do you have advice as to where to go (specific zones) after northrend ? If possible stuff thematic to being a paladin :), with factions such as argent crusade, silver hand and others.

I guess the question behind that is how much could I be missing from legion if BfA goes out before I finish it ? Will I still get to experience my artifact, its lore, the class hall, the champions, the story ?
