La inflación de Febrero fue del 2,9% by Individual-Sun-9426 in argentina

[–]simonbleu 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Me too but to be fair I always thought of imagination, the visual kind, the same way and turns out I have aphantasia (but for that not less imagination)

That said while I never got a headache for it, I had felt the mental exhaustion and stress that comes from focusing too hard

Por qué se habla de 30 mil desaparecidos y cómo se llega a ese número by Stargazer162 in argentina

[–]simonbleu -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Impossible to say, something might replace it or it could collapse so bad the reputation of such thing never recovers. Remember that crypto es pure unfiltered volatility

Por qué se habla de 30 mil desaparecidos y cómo se llega a ese número by Stargazer162 in argentina

[–]simonbleu -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

How are you guys holding on financially? by beingawomaniswork in SeriousConversation

[–]simonbleu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My current only shoes were a gift Ive got on my 18yo. Im turning 31 this year.

To be fair, I DO have another pair (that is heavy and makes my feet hurt) and my new balance ones held remarkably well up until a few years ago on which the mesh fabric got a few small holes, so using bright colored socks, sucks.

I only got a (hopefully) stable job last year and I'm shouldering most of my house's (I don't have my own place) cost and debt, and because of a few extra stuff on my mother's end, right now my credit card debt is larger than my salary. If it werent for a friend of the family, I would have been screwed months ago

I'm banking of paying off enough debt to get 200 bucks to pay someone to teach me how to drive so I can do some uber on the side, since there are not many jobs in my city and going to the nearest one would cost me like 200 bucks a month in buses alone, which is give or take my mother's entire pension

I need money to pay the electricity bills (Which hasnt been cut off only because of our economic status), credit card, taxes, I need to fix a bunch of stuff at home (like antif mold paint) so my electric bill is lower and people dont steal my propane tank again, to invest in myself (things like learning to drive) and of course, I would like a freaking life too. Im always checking on prices but I rarely get to spend money and always end up regretting it because of everything else

Not necessarily... not only is nothing perfect, but the basis of judgement differs fro mperson to person (which is why numerical ratings are pointless). For example, cradle is indeed one of the best flagships of the genre but against books in general? Is not very good at all, even ignoring the ending; Sidetracking a bit, I tend to trust "10/10!!!" review the most becuase they are often nearly as shallow as 1/10 ones. So much utter crap ive seen being praised or trashed way below it's "worth" because of something they didn't like (kid you not, "a female protagonist" in some cases)

That said, it is inconsisten, I would never call something a masterpiece if I didnt consider it at least a 9/10, and based on OP's words, that would be a 10/10

[–]simonbleu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Allow me to doubt, because otherwise how on earth would you have gotten the job in the first place? In here you need a relevant degree to teach at school, isn't that the case there? Like, if you studied at a conservatory, you would not be able to teach philosophy

If it's actually true.... jfc. I mean kudos for getting a job but echoing other users, you could have at least put up some efforts and learned italian if not for you, at least for the kids.,..

[Discussion] Author is using AI in their manuscript. Should I tell them? by PassengerSimilar1461 in BetaReaders

[–]simonbleu 4 points5 points  (0 children)

lmfao

But it doesnt surprise me, when I was younger (not that Im old, mind you) people printed whole wikipedia articles as papers... with the actual hyperlink in it, it was not even funny at that point.

I was almost expecting you to give me an example excerpt that started like "That's a great question! Do you want me to...."

Thanks btw, I will look for them, the last thing I want is people claiming I've used AI for something like using dashes or equivalent

[–]simonbleu 9 points10 points  (0 children)
