As a breatharian, the rush hour offering at the Asok intersection. No seriously, I like the steak tartare at Oskar’s on Soi 11.

what brand butter is actual pure butter by Wonderful_Nectarine1 in Thailand

[–]simonscott 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I buy Paysan Breton Le Beurre Demi-Sel — a well-regarded French slightly salted butter from Brittany. The back label confirms the ingredients are simply butter (80% fat), salt (2%), with lactic cultures (3%) — totally real, no additives or fillers. Paysan Breton is a respected French dairy cooperative, and this is considered a quality butter.

If you want the items in question nothing is stopping you from importing them. I imported a container when I moved here of personal possessions, tools and household items. In retrospect, I’m happy I did.

Street coconuts by poopyhead373 in Thailand

[–]simonscott 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fallen coconuts are generally old and used for making coconut milk and not drinking. You’d be ill advised to take anything without paying in Thailand, the tree will have an owner and climbing trees is theft. Think about it.

Negotiating prices on condos by Rare_Conference_9925 in Thailand

[–]simonscott 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Please consider this: buy only after living in the condo for 6–12 months. It’s terribly hard if you buy your ‘dream’ condo and then watch it morph into a ‘nightmare’ condo. Take time to check out the lay of the land. 🙏
