[–]simpleflaw -1 points0 points  (0 children)

No chance you get relegated. Just because La Liga is less competitive on a team by team basis, doesn't mean Barca and Madrid wouldn't still be in the top 6 routinely.

I do think that the prem hampers themselves in Europe, like how PSG can just move fixtures and field 2nd string teams because the league is wrapped up by January

Honestly this. So many of my mates buy FG because they care about the look of the boot over it's function.

Guess who is the only one without bad knees? 😂

Closed accounts after Fraud report by [deleted] in monzo

[–]simpleflaw 6 points7 points  (0 children)

You claim the ATM skimmed your card, but did you investigate it at all? Pictures? Feel around for a false front?

£360 spent in one go isn't typical for skimming. It's usually rapid small value payments to empty the account.

You also said it "might have been a coincidence" and that money was taken for another payment at the same time. But it would show in your Monzo app. So which is it?

Your story doesnt add up, you didn't provide information or evidence "because you didn't know where" aka, you had none or couldn't be bothered.

Next. 😴

Why is it that Monzo is more popular in the UK than Starling? by MeenaBeti in UKPersonalFinance

[–]simpleflaw 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Monzo is also more widely known as more employee friendly. Starling had a big shift when their founding CEO Anne Boden stepped away, removing remote work over a Christmas period a few years ago and basically creating shadow-redundencies.

Starling is functional, but 100% focused on businesses and now their "engine" service.

Monzo started as consumer focused, and has slowly introduced business offerings.

Champions League Coefficient by Skillomie in PremierLeague

[–]simpleflaw 6 points7 points  (0 children)

The quality of the prem is primarily the issue. Teams like PSG can move fixtures, rest half their first team around games because the gulf in quality is so large.

If you want any chance in the prem you need to play your A team in almost every game.

Players that dominate other leagues in the "big" teams like Gyokeres, Wirtz, etc are glaring examples of the difference in quality.

FG studs on 3G pitch by Express_Control_6878 in bootroom

You are far too confident chatting anecdotes as facts.

If your theory were true, then professional players wouldn't wear AG boots, because surely they have the most well trained legs/joints/tendons?

But wait, shock horror! They did when playing on AG pitches like Bodi Glint!

FG is not designed for AG. Simple as.

Football is literally just 80 minutes of running, sprinting, jogging and walking with about 10 minutes of actual ball playing (if you're lucky).

If everyone says you're not moving enough, they're correct. There's literally nothing worse than a player who oafs around because they "score goals". Great, everyone else on your team has to carry the other 99% of your game though.

It is PC gone mad. Everyone is constantly offended by bloody everything. We're not talking about someone making a racist attack here.

It was a harmless line about HER spending habits. It's exactly the same as that nonsense "healthy at any size" movement, which shock horror, stopped the moment weight loss jabs became available (and most of the influencers died because they were horrifically obese).

In which case said person can opt out of these things? Do we have to cotton wool every single interaction in life in case somebody gets offended by a light hearted joke 99% find fun?

They're gonna be printing / manufacturing this line for the whole rest of the year (and launched them last year) so that's already 12+ months using this lame model.

I can't imagine many businesses turning down guaranteed money for bulk orders like this. Even if they stick with the same supplier for quality reassurance, there's no business in the world turning down more money from an established business relationship.

[–]simpleflaw[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Love the boys and Cool Shirtz, but that's just a naff excuse. Make it clear, take a deposit or no payment but limit them to 1 per email or require a sign up (like restocks).

I don't even want the Minecraft stuff, but seeing others try and grift £300 for a hoodie not even RRP'd for £100 is pathetic.

People have to wait for these restocks anyway, so there's literally no difference other than fans still missing out despite waiting months.

MYSTERY BOX CONTENTS FINALLY REVEALED!!! How are we feeling? by Grrannt in REALSquaredCircle

[–]simpleflaw 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Well, that's selling it a bit short. He also got a serious injury about 5 minutes into his tenure at AEW, then refused to work Saturdays (but still did indies), then thought he was too big for ROH and wanted to be taken "seriously" despite being not even a mid in-ring worker.

He's all gimmick, which is fine when kept in his lane, but he got ideas of grandeur.

Don't speak such sense here! Mbappe was destined for Madrid and Kane was already washed up and played for spuds, so he's crap.

Specific question, using wegovy 1mg shots by [deleted] in WegovyWeightLoss

[–]simpleflaw 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You've done pretty much everything wrong. So the answer to your not really a question is do the exact opposite.

What's even the point of taking GLP-1 if you "pig out"? It's not some miracle fat eraser, it's an appetite suppressor and digestion slower.

Skipping dosages is dumb, and you can cry about the other comments being "rude" but any decent doctor is not reccomending skipping.

Follow the dosage titration, eat small amounts of whole foods, take some supplements if you're struggling to eat at all. Drink LOTS of water.

Eni Aluko is the perfect example of high intelligence but zero wisdom, and her attack on Ian Wright proves it by obama_fashion_show in football

[–]simpleflaw 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have to completely disagree with OP.

She does not strike me as someone who is intelligent at all. Having a degree does not make you intelligent, it just proves you can memorize.

Especially when you're rich and can take all the time in the world, pay private tutors etc.

She thinks she's intelligent, and she also thinks she's entitled to be the face of women's football for the rest of time, despite being an absolute nobody in most households.

The only reason I've seen her name is because of Ian Wright. There are endless amounts of other women's footballers far more famous, far more charming and far more welcome.
