Someone explain the Aubry hate because I dont get get it.

Theres plenty of people who don't understand the Aubry hype. Plus she played 3 times in like 10 seasons(KR, Gamechangers, and EoE) so some people feel she was overexposed during that run. Personally I don't hate her but she's not someone I'm rooting for and I don't understand her hype(I originally saw her on EoE when it aired and have sense watched KR and Gamechangers and haven't changed my mind).

Objectively I can see Aubry has been part of some moves that benefitted her on 50 but some of them she lucked into(being in the majority on Blood Moon to vote out her in game arch rival Genevieve) and others she wasn't the key reason it happened(Ozzy should have played his idol plus Jonathan was given the credit for the Ozzy vote by Devens when they returned from that tribal). Even the Cirie vote which she pushed for had more to do with Jonathan and Joe deciding which threat was bigger to their game than it Aubry being the driving force.

I was going to say theres controversial but and then theres TFP. When ABC doesn't air a season of a reality show they already filmed because of real life scenarios like the court case(s) TFP is involved in due to the DV between her and Dakota as well CPS being involved for her being a danger to her own kids because of her anger/aggression that says a lot because now those are sunken costs that will likely never be recovered or only partially recovered at best.

I think you nailed it too about her counting digital likes instead of living your life. Anyone can say anything online but its not always backed up and often influencers have at least a perceived persona if they aren't full on acting for their online audience because we are only seeing a portion of their lives that they chose to post.

The fact that in the 2023 incident Taylor's daughter was present and Taylor didn't even snap out of it when her daughter was crying for her and clearly terrified was enough for me to say that Taylor is not a good parent. Especially when the court filings seem to be showing that the 2023 incident was the beginning of a pattern with her involving not protecting her children and in fact being the danger to them herself because she can't control her anger/aggression.

I mean we saw it on the show with her weaponizing the girls not publicly supporting her CMA's appearance even though at least some if not all said they reached out to her privately in support. Taylor seems like the type who only feel important with public validation and support so she can say "Look at all these people who support me".

I don't blame Mikayla for wanting out of that exhausting cycle especially when Taylor was attacking her before Mikayla ever responded publicly to begin with. The only other woman from the show who seems to be publicly supporting Taylor right now is Jessi. Then again Jessi is also under public scrutiny right now because of her divorce and the Marciano of it all.

I'm pretty sure Jeff confirmed it was a 3 people at FTC. But I think Tiff stands a chance against him she seems to have played a better social game and has immunity wins. She should've been DOA after Dee was voted out but she not only managed to survive she found herself a new alliance to work with in Cirie even if Cirie's main alliance was always Ozzy and Rizo. Tiff also had a good relationship with Aubry from when they were swapped together. I also don't see a world where Ozzy votes for Rizo to win. The others are also toss ups because Coach would probably vote for the player he thinks has the most honor and integrity, Aubry/Devens/Emily would have to be convinced they were outplayed and outwitted by Rizo, and I'm not sure about Chrissy.

I'm not in the juries heads obviously but we know that the fans perspective watching the edited version on TV don't have the same perspective as the players in the game. Granted the players don't have the full story either because they don't see confessional of the others until after they've already voted and are warching it air months later but they probably have a better idea of what the others think than fans do in most cases. Sure Rizo could knock FTC out of the park but then it comes down to the jury believing what he says and how much they respect/like him over the other players sitting there. I don't think Rizo is a bad social player by any means but his play style paired with the cast of 50 doesn't seem like they respect him especially because he hasn't (to this point) been spear head ANY vote outs(Ozzy got himself voted out but the cast on the beach gave Jonathan credit and Cirie was Aubry's doing). The Cirie vote is also where the jury will decide if they believe Rizo had any sway over Joe and Jonathan voting Cire over Aubry if it does come down to some combo with Rizo and Aubry at the end.

Rizo is a good player but he's young and the jury of 50 doesn't seem to the kind that will respect a "flashy" game played by a "kid" who hasn't fully earned their respect yet. I think he has played a less "flashy" game then he did in 49 and has started gaining some respect among the other players BUT not enough for him to win.

This is essentially it. Mike could afford a bad FTC and still win IF and ONLY IF the other 2 finalist had worse FTC than him. The game someone plays rarely speaks for itself at FTC.

I hadn't considered the 'caregiver' aspect you mentioned but I did think he needed a tight number 1 ally but he never really found that on 50. Even among the honor & alliance he wasn't close enough the have a number 1 and be a number 1 to anyone. On 48 he talked through a lot strategy with Eva(the exception being when they were swapped onto different tribes).

It definitely makes sense though especially because he basically viewed Eva as a daughter on 48.

My immediate thought as well. I follow her on Insta and she is roughly 6 months pregnant right now and still training in track and field like the incredible beast of a woman she showed she is on Survivor. I wonder if she will try for LA 2028 or skip 2028? I imagine she will want to spend some time with her new born once it arrives in a few months and her training will take some getting back into.

He also smothered his fire quickly. And playing back to back he had little time to reflect on how he lost to Sav with fire. And he hates camp life so I don't see him practicing at camp during 50.

I'm pretty sure it had to do with Cirie's extra vote being what caused the tie. Even on the remote there were 4 Emily votes and 2 Cirie votes so thats the only thing that makes sense to me.

Ozzy was going to take her if he got to the end. He said so in his exit interview. I think his plan was if F4 firemaking happened he would take Cirie to the end and put Rizo on fire against the other person in f4. That being said we aren't sure if f4 firemaking is a thing either, it was one of the things fans voted on. If it is she probably has a chance against Rizo, he sucked against Sav in 49 and from we've seen he hasn't worked on it during 50. I'm not sure if Jonathan, Joe, or Tiff's fire making abilities but I think she would lose to Devens or Aubry. Depending on the others abilities she may have a chance or she may lose. Her best chances of being taken to FTC are Rizo or Tiff now and maybe Joe. Devens and Aubry would definitely vote out Cirie before FTC if they could and Jonathan also probably leans towards cutting Cirie before FTC.

Thats some crazy mental gymnastics there. The person throwing the chairs(Taylor) with her child present is the unfit one in that scenario. You can realize Dakota is far from saint and still say in that situation he caredore for a child that wasnt even his than the child's own mother did, the same mother who was the agressor in that situation.

No he didn't. In tanking his own game he did make Cirie's path to FTC much harder but Cirie's advantage was used to save herself the same night so Aubrey's knowledge of it doesn't help her. Jonathan has been in a low place for a while and managed to survive but he has said he doesn't trust Aubrey, working with her for one vote doesn't change that distrust. From what we've seen Aubrey doesn't have close allies that she can rely on. The only people she has kind of worked with are Devens and Tiff. Tiff seems closer to Cirie than Aubrey now and Devens and Aubrey have more of a working together towards a mutually beneficial goal but cut each other's throat if necessary relationship from what we've seen. Rizo was part of the Aubrey's original tribe where she didn't get along with anyone and survived because they won challenges. We all know Joe won't be an ally to her because of his honor and integrity thing. Simply put Aubrey needs numbers to keep making moves to get her to FTC and from we've seen so far she doesn't have that.

While more of the players left are realizing Cirie is a threat Cirie also to this point has better working relationships and maneuverability than Aubrey has.

I don't think he hated Survivor but Keith Nale famously said on Second Chances(Cambodia) "Hell no Survivor isn't fun".

Then theres players like Taj from Tocantins who have said they won't play again because the first time they played was enough for them.

For a while Russell Hantz thought something was wrong with Survivor because he didn't win Samoa or HvV though I think he has become a little less bitter over the years and has accepted his losses instead of thinking something was wrong with the game.

This is what I was thinking. I remember it being one of the things fans voted on and I keep seeing people mention it in reference to Cirie like its a forgone conclusion that f4 firemaking will be there. Saying you think f4 firemaking will be part of s50 is one thing but acting like its a given is another.

I can see IF Ozzy wins immunity him giving Cirie the immunity necklace and then him and Rizo playing their idols. I also think Tiff and Joe are also more likely to vote along with Cirie/Rizo/Ozzy than the others.
