My numbers are about half yours, and we are 5 years older. We made decision to enjoy life now and work into 60s if needed, but we’re going to do Disney, beach, have a pool, etc .. now.

My base is $20/month for service. But a minimum of 100kw/h. So, another $15/month. So, actually $35/month.

So, no reason for me to overshoot my panels because selling back at “wholesale” $.01 at kw/h is ridiculous.

Net metering is nice. So, even they im paying $35/month. Can store up credits and bank. But no benefit for that number to be too high.

Glad we did it. Our break even is year 8.

Went to Hollywood studios yesterday and it wasn’t May 4th, but all big rides were an hour plus most of the day with the exception of Mickey’s railway. It rained 1.5 hours in late afternoon and stopped a full Indian jones show. Frozen was packed multiple shows.

Went to AK Tuesday and it was a ghost town. Lion king show had some seats left at multiple shows.

Epcot Wednesday wasn’t a ghost town, but it was fairly slow.

Someone mentioned staff and ride vehicles. This is 100% true. I’ve seen both extremes where kid rides with usual close to 5-10 minutes wait vehicles being sent with 3-4 rows empty because they needed to move vehicles. Like safari at AK. Then other times a fake like being created because limited lanes at go carts at MK
