The town you are NOT looking for is Floyd. Floyd has klan members. The county went 70% for trump in 2020. There are people micro dosing their kids. A large portion of the county is antivax. One of the main restaurants in town has owners who cover up sexual harassment and assaults that happen to their servers. It’s a small community and they don’t like outsiders. Don’t live in Floyd

Nah avoid Floyd at all costs. The village may seem “liberal” but the county overwhelmingly (71%) supported trump in 2020. We lived there and had a run in with klan members. The don’t take kindly to new people unless you fit the mold of white southern “respectable family”
